Brandi Glanville's Face Transformation Has Been Striking
Brandi Glanville has long been in the entertainment industry as a model, and then gained fame when she married actor Eddie Cibrian in 2001. It wasn't until she joined "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" during Season 2, however, that she became a household name. As Glanville literally hobbled into the lair of reality stars with a broken leg, she soon found out that her pretty face wasn't going to save her from all the drama — even when starting some, herself.
Of course, Glanville didn't enter the reality television scene without some beauty enhancements, and relied on neurotoxins as a preventative measure. "I've been getting injections since I was 25. I prefer movement in my face. That's why I only do Botox twice a year now," she told Life & Style (via the Daily News). It's clear that the mom of two maintained her looks throughout her career, but an unfortunate illness in 2023 left the star unrecognizable. From her "Real Housewives" days to bravely trying to regain her health, Glanville's facial transformation over the years has been astounding.
2011-2015: Brandi Glanville's 'RHOBH' era was all about soft glam
Brandi Glanville began her start on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in 2011 as a friend-of, back when it was easy to see what the "Real Housewives" stars looked like before plastic surgery. At the time, the "Traitors" star had a laid-back, California cool aesthetic, with long, wavy blond hair and natural makeup that enhanced her features. And, while Glanville didn't go under the knife for her face, she did get a liquid nose job to fix a previous fracture. "A doctor has to replace the fillers in it periodically. But I haven't had anything else done to my face," she shared with Life & Style, per the Daily Mail.
Glanville entertained fans of "RHOBH" for four seasons, and upon her exit, she looked just as fabulous as she did during her reality television debut, and that was because she kept up with the injectables. As reported by the Daily Mail, while on RuPaul's show "Good Work" in 2015, Glanville admitted, "Yeah, tons ... fillers and botox and I've definitely made some mistakes, but it's hard to watch yourself get older on television." She continued, "I've definitely over-filled, and I've definitely had some bad Botox where your eyes drop, but ... there's no shame in my game."
2016-2019: Brandi Glanville's fillers became more noticeable with time
By 2016, Brandi Glanville was no longer on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but it's clear she kept up her looks with the "untouched look" injectable trend. She was around 44 years old at the time, but there were hardly any fine lines or wrinkles on her face, which was likely due to a bit of Botox and fillers. Glanville's cheeks also maintained their youthful plumpness, but they weren't obviously overfilled, giving the "Celebrity Big Brother" contestant a natural glow.
Fast forward a few years, and Glanville had obviously ramped up on the injectables. In 2019, her cheeks were much puffier, and the reality star's chin looked much rounder. Additionally, her lips, which had already been voluminous, appeared to be enhanced. As always, she was transparent about her beauty procedures, and in an Instagram post shared in November of that year, Glanville gave a shout-out to her nurse injector and wrote, "Getting some birthday beauty treatments with this beauty ... Manhunting in Manhattan Beach soon."
2020-2024: Brandi Glanville's face changed due to weight gain and a mysterious illness
Brandi Glanville was still rocking her gorgeous looks in 2020, with a more natural approach to Botox and fillers. Her cheeks weren't as puffy then, and that could have been due to the COVID-19 lockdown. However, one side effect of the quarantine was weight gain, which she had to defend amid online criticism of her looks. "I've gained 20 pounds during COVID. I'm 10 years older. I'm not 35 years old anymore," she told ET in 2021. Glanville ranted, "A lot of [the Housewives] look better than they did 10 years ago. I'm like, geez, wow. I need to start doing something. But we change, and it's part of it. It's life. I'm like, I'm not allowed to age? I'm not allowed to gain the 'COVID 19' like everyone else?"
In 2023, Glanville's face transformation took a turn for the worse when she experienced so much swelling due to stress that she had to be taken to the hospital, per ET. A year later, she shared a selfie on X revealing major lumps on her face that had fans concerned. The day after, Glanville answered, "What happened? I wish I knew. I've been in &out of the hospital this [past year-and-a-half], spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.'s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it's stress-induced edema."
2025-Present: Brandi Glanville is trying everything to regain her health
Brandi Glanville has tried everything to get to the bottom of her unknown illness, and that includes trying unconventional methods. Unfortunately, not all of them have worked, including applying Nair to her face, which left her with severe burns. In a TikTok posted in August 2025, Glanville showed how red and irritated the lower half of her face was in an attempt to get rid of what she believed were parasites living under her skin. Good news. You don't have to spend a lot of money on peels and lasers anymore ... Nair is the fountain of youth. I figured it out, but I overdid it," she quipped.
By January 2026, Glanville looked much better, and an Instagram selfie showed her with much smoother skin. She made her first public re-entry since her health issues at the Sundance Film Festival that month with a dramatic smoky eye look and spiky lashes. The next month, Glanville revealed that she had finally gotten answers about her "parasites," which were apparently caused by ruptured silicone implants that were nearly 20 years old, TMZ reported. Hopefully, the "Traitors" star is on the mend, and fans will see her back on the screen, entertaining viewers with her hijinks.
