Does Erika Kirk Have Tattoos? What We Know About Her Ink

Erika Kirk has established herself as a tradwife with conservative values, and that has translated to every aspect of her life, including her overall look. For one, Erika Kirk's face has had a noticeable transformation, coming a long way since her pageant days. Nowadays, Kirk dresses in modest outfits that range from sparkling gowns to business attire when she is appearing in public. However, there appears to be one element of her appearance that she keeps fully to herself and has not addressed — Kirk remains tightlipped on the subject of tattoos and whether she has any.

While Kirk has never spoken on the subject of tattoos, especially when it comes to her own experience with tats, eagled-eyed viewers have been able to spot what could be a bit of ink on her skin. There's a small marking on Kirk's right hand that has received a lot of attention. It appears to be a small, horseshoe-like curve that does not match her surrounding skin tone. Roughly one inch higher than her wrist, the tiny ring of raised skin stands out. At first, it looks as though Kirk could simply have a circular birthmark between her thumb and pointer finger, but a further look at the history of Kirk's Instagram suggests that this could be another item in the long list of things that the Turning Point USA CEO is trying to keep under wraps.

Erika Kirk could be hiding a tattoo on her hand and lower back

While Erika Kirk doesn't mind wearing outfits that show off her killer legs, she seems to be far more coy when it comes to showing off parts of her body that may have tattoos. Her bare hands can occasionally be seen in a social media candid, but not enough to confirm whether the small marking on her right hand is actually inked-in artwork. But a February 2016 Instagram post from Kirk may provide the answer. In the photo, tattoo artist Caleb Wayne Hail is seen working on Kirk's hand with his tattoo needle. The caption simply reads, "make it permanent."

And a look back in Kirk's history suggests that she may be hiding an even bigger piece of ink. In fact, Kirk could be masking a massive tat on her lower back. Back in 2012, Kirk appeared in a music video for the song "She's My Kind of Crazy" by the band Emerson Drive. Mere seconds into the video and for only a brief moment, Kirk is seen in jean shorts and a pink crop top which allows her lower back tattoo to be fully in view. The sparkly black tattoo includes a couple of butterflies that appear to be connected by lines that have the look of fishy tentacles. It's unknown whether this tattoo was real or merely a creation for the music video, and Kirk has never discussed her cameo. But it's hard to deny how real the ink looks when rewatching the clip.

Some have speculated whether Erika Kirk has a tattoo on both hands

While her hands are the most likely parts of Erika Kirk's body to have been tattooed, the placement and number of her hand tattoos remains a mystery. The small circular tattoo on Kirk's right hand is the easiest to spot, but instances on her Instagram page have suggested that she may be hiding a tattoo on her left hand as well.

This would make sense, as the 2016 Instagram photo of Kirk receiving a hand tattoo does not make it obvious which of her hands is getting tatted at the time. Not to mention the instances when part of Kirk's left hand appears to be intentionally out of view in photos, whether covered with a sleeve or cropped just outside of the image's dimensions.

There's also the case for the possible tattoos that Kirk may have on the side of her hands. Textured writing can be seen on Kirk's right hand in a photo taken in April 2018, while similar markings are seen on her left hand in a picture from June 2018. Both markings appear to be a word tattooed in cursive. When the sides of Kirk's hands are seen today, the cursive letters cannot be confirmed, as markings on her hands could easily be attributed to scarring, aging, or results of Erika Kirk's fast-paced lavish lifestyle as a working mother.
