Bunnie Xo Taking Fans Along For The Ride On Her Facelift Journey Is So Refreshing (& A Little TMI)

Bunnie Xo, the wife of rapper and country star Jelly Roll, is known for her transparency with her fans. Over the years, Bunnie Xo's complete transformation has left us in awe, as the star has changed drastically since the early 2010s. In March 2026, Bunnie Xo opened up about getting a facelift, and she has documented the journey in detail on social media.

On her podcast, "Dumb Blonde," Bunnie Xo announced that she would share the transformation. "I'll be getting my facelift on Sunday the 15th, so send lots of prayers for your girl," the star said, adding, "I'm gonna look crazy, guys. I'm gonna be bruised. It's gonna be a little weird. Don't freak out. My doctor's really good, so everything's gonna go great."

After her facelift, Bunnie Xo uploaded numerous videos and photos of herself, showcasing just how the entire healing process works. Six days after her surgery, Bunnie Xo shared an update of what her face looked like on Instagram, along with the text "When it's day 6 of your recovery you have cabin fever, watched every 2000's movie, can barely walk [without] being winded, live in a recliner, feel like you're being choked from ear to ear and everyone keeps telling you day 7 is the best day but that's tomorrow and you have lost all faith in humanity." In another Instagram post, the star also showed the difficulties of eating and chewing after a facelift, as well as all the bruising that occurs.

Bunnie Xo's transparency about her facelift is rare in the entertainment industry

Bunnie Xo has documented her facelift for everyone to see, and many have praised her for being so open. "Thank you for always being so transparent with us! We love you for it," a follower commented on her Instagram post, which showed videos of the star during and right after the plastic surgery. Bunnie Xo's candor about her facelift has been refreshing, especially considering that many celebs confessed to plastic surgery only after years of denying it

After many questions as to why she opted for the procedure, Bunnie Xo shared the reasoning behind her decision. "For everyone asking why I decided to do a facelift, old filler was one of the main reasons," she wrote on Instagram. "I had stopped getting filler over 3 years ago in my face (I did have some in my lips tho), had it dissolved multiple times in my cheeks & it still was in my face. It would be itchy, it would cause swelling in my cheeks [and] it continued to migrate to other places." The star added that in her experience, the leftover filler never dissolved on its own.

Bunnie Xo's plastic surgeon, Dr. Daniel J. Gould, shared on Instagram what the facelift was meant to do. "She wanted to improve that little bit of heaviness and laxity in the neck," Dr. Gould said, adding that Bunnie Xo also wanted to "improve slightly the position of the cheek, add a little bit of volume back where she's lost it before, clean up a little bit of the skin in the upper eyelids and to address the temples and the mid-face."
