Side-By-Side Pics Of Bravo Star Melissa Gorga Make Her Plastic Surgery Obvious
Melissa Gorga basically looks like a different person in a throwback photo from 2011. The changes that "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's face underwent following plastic surgery become even more apparent when we compare that snap to a photo from 2025. In the after photo, her nose appears to have gotten thinner while her lips seem noticeably plumper. As a whole, her face appears more taut and angular. Initially, Gorga avoided questions about whether she had a rhinoplasty, and sometimes even chalked up the changes in her nose to contouring. However, she did eventually open up about her experiences with plastic surgery.

Speaking to Glamour in September 2019, the reality TV star shared that she had not only undergone a rhinoplasty, but also a breast augmentation. Gorga then explained that she had been compelled to go under the knife after watching herself on screen during the first season of "RHONJ" and noticing that her nose had a "little lump." She further divulged, "My nose was definitely from suddenly going from being a housewife to being on TV and in magazines. I was like, 'I never noticed that. I think if I do that little tweak, it'll make me feel better.'"
Gorga was happy to report that the surgery had its intended effect. During an October 2019 chat with Bravo's The Daily Dish, Gorga admitted that she initially had no desire to join the ranks of celebrities who have opened up about their plastic surgery experience. However, she had no choice but to admit to it after her "RHONJ" co-star Jacqueline Laurita falsely claimed that she'd had four rhinoplasties during an argument on the show.

During Melissa Gorga's chat with Glamour, she shared that she had gotten breast implants when she was 20, which was well before she became a reality TV star in 2011. Gorga obviously liked the results of the surgery, because she went on to get replacement implants in 2015, per her plastic surgeon's advice (via Instagram). After Kylie Jenner opened up about the specifications of her own augmentation surgery in June 2025, Gorga followed suit, taking to Instagram Stories to share that her implants were "340 cc's half under half over the muscle" (via OK!).
In addition to undergoing plastic surgery procedures, the Bravoleb, who was responsible for one of the worst looks at BravoCon 2023, has also made some smaller cosmetic tweaks to her appearance. Speaking to OK! in 2019, Gorga admitted that she had initially regretted getting lip fillers because her husband, Joe Gorga, disliked how they looked on her. After seeing her new lips for the first time, Joe felt like his wife was becoming unrecognizable, thanks to her reality TV stardom. However, Gorga knew the answer to how long lip fillers typically last and was able to reassure him she would have her natural lips back in a few months.
During a January 2024 appearance on "Jeff Lewis Live," the "RHONJ" star shared that her hubby loved the fresh batch of lip fillers she had gotten. Gorga also confirmed that she had been getting Botox. By September 2024, the Bravoleb and her husband felt comfortable enough to share Instagram Stories revealing that they were getting Botox together (via BravoTV).
