Sandra Bullock Reemerges For CinemaCon 2026 & Schools Erika Kirk In The Long Hair Game

Take notes, Erika Kirk — Sandra Bullock is showing us the right way to rock ultra-long locks. On April 14, the "Miss Congeniality" star stepped out on the CinemaCon red carpet to promote her upcoming film "Practical Magic 2." While all eyes were on Bullock's fabulous red pantsuit — rightly so! — we couldn't help but notice her expertly-styled hair. We don't know if Bullock is wearing extensions or not, but the actor proved that you don't necessarily need super thick hair (natural or otherwise) to achieve a fuller look.

Bullock's long, dark brown locks reached down to her midriff, and were tastefully styled in waves over her shoulder. Bullock proved that red will be this summer's spiciest color once again in a stylish blazer and matching pants from Gabriela Hearst, which she made a little scandalous with a leather bra top underneath. The entire look screams boss babe in the best way.

On the other hand, many of the women in MAGA-land embrace a different vibe; their long, blond hair extensions are a trademark of modern conservative beauty trends. Erika Kirk, the wife of late conservative media personality Charlie Kirk, is known for her dramatic beauty looks — not to mention for being one of the worst offenders of both the "MAGA makeup" and "Republican hair" trends. Perhaps Kirk's glam squad should take inspiration from Bullock for her next Turning Point USA event.

Erika Kirk's hairstylist should take notes from Sandra Bullock

Erika Kirk's biggest hair extension fails are hard to look away from. While the Turning Point USA CEO has claimed that her long hair is all natural, we find that hard to believe given her inconsistent hair length and density. "People think my hair is fake. It is very real," Kirk claimed in a 2025 interview on "The Megyn Kelly Show." She went on to affirm that, as a tribute to her late husband Charlie Kirk, she would not consider a big chop. "I will never have hair shorter than my shoulder. Charlie loved my hair." We've most commonly seen Kirk embrace exaggerated hairstyles that harken back to her pageant roots — the complete opposite of more classic styles like that of Sandra Bullock.

Personal stylist Cynthia Kennedy told Glam exclusively that the key to fixing Erika Kirk's dramatic beauty looks could be toned-down hairstyles. "Long, blond extensions aren't bad in themselves, but if they're always very big and overly done, they fall into that pageant arena," Kennedy said. "A little shorter length, more natural movement, or just less fullness would immediately make her look more modern ... even keeping the length but making the style softer would make a big difference."

Kirk's beauty team should take a few pages out of Bullock's book. It may be a good idea to shorten Kirk's extensions and style them in a more refined manner, trading in the businesswoman's frizzy tresses and teased '80s ringlets for softer, pomade-smoothed waves that would better flatter her features.
