Jennifer Aniston's Response To Those Barack Obama Affair Rumors Was So Relatable

The who's who of Hollywood are no strangers to whispers about their relationships, whether the public is debating if someone cheated, or gawking at celebs who got married later in life. Jennifer Aniston knows the game all too well. Her love life tends to garner as many headlines as her work; the Jen-Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie hoopla of the early 2000s was peak tabloid culture. Among the latest Anniston-related relationship rumors was an especially wild one — some thought Aniston was having an affair with Barack Obama. Yes, the married former president of the United States of America. That one started to swirl in 2024 and invited mostly eye rolls, but others thought it might be true, since it's also been rumored that Barack and Michelle Obama's marriage had hit choppy waters.

In October 2024, Aniston appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and addressed the rumor, telling Kimmel, "I was not mad at it." Jokes aside, she clarified, "That is absolutely untrue." In a September 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston said she never had an affair with Barack, didn't know where the rumor came from, and didn't pay it attention. "I was lucky enough to have dinner with Michelle a month ago," Aniston said, adding that the wild idea was never brought up. "I don't think anyone really pays attention to reports like that if you're the subject of them," she said. Since she and Barack left the White House, the stunning style transformation of Michelle Obama has been hard to miss. So, for her part, it seems the former first lady is delivering looks, minding her business, and ignoring tabloid chatter as well.

Jennifer Aniston hard-launched her actual relationship in November 2025

She doesn't speak out about her love life all that often, but there have definitely been times when Jennifer Aniston dressed for revenge. Analyze that as you will. In a rare inside glimpse, though, Aniston confirmed her rumored relationship with wellness coach and author Jim Curtis via a birthday post to her Instagram in November 2025. She posted a black-and-white photo of her with her arms wrapped around Curtis, and the caption read, "Happy birthday my love."

There had been speculation around the pair's relationship since July 2025, when they were spotted cozying up on a yacht in Mallorca with friends, including Jason Bateman and Amy Schumer. Curtis spoke a bit about he and Aniston's relationship in January 2026 during an appearance on the "Today" show. "We were introduced by friends. We found out that we had mutual friends, and we started to just chat," he shared. "It took a long time. We chatted for a long time and we became close."
