Mother's Day 2026 has come and gone, and as it goes every year, many used social media to shout-out the women who support and uplift their families. While it can be difficult to find the best Mother's Day gifts, especially for beauty- and style-obsessed moms, the easiest thing to do is share some heartfelt words of love and appreciation (though an intentional, thought-out present is a close second). 

This year, we saw many women in the entertainment world celebrating the holiday by posting pictures of themselves and their children. Actors from Viola Davis to Charlize Theron used Instagram to share words of thanks for their families, mothers, grandmothers, and support systems. Even celebs who rarely post images of their own kids on social media, like Sandra Bullock, used the day as an opportunity to share a few family photos. Now, from throwback snaps to rare glimpses of some celebrity kids, these are some of the sweetest Mother's Day posts from our favorite Hollywood moms, including the biggest momager in the game, Kris Jenner.

Sandra Bullock, who recently reemerged with beautiful long hair CinemaCon 2026, typically avoids posting her children online. For Mother's Day, however, the "Bird Box" actor celebrated her small family on Instagram. Bullock shared a throwback picture with kids Louis and Laila, whom she adopted in 2010 and 2015, respectively. In addition to the sweet photo, Bullock shared two pictures featuring her late mother, Helga Meyer. "To all the mamas, No matter how you came to be, Happy Mother's Day," Bullock wrote in the post's caption. "Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me."

Nicole Kidman is in her Princess Diana "single era" (sorry, Keith Urban), and like the late royal icon, she's still taking mom life seriously. Kidman has four children, two with ex Tom Cruise and two with recent ex Keith Urban, and shouted out her youngest daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, on Instagram for Mother's Day. "To my beautiful girls, the greatest joy is being your mother," Kidman wrote, going on to send Mother's Day wishes to all of her fellow moms. 

Viola Davis posted a sweet set of pictures on Instagram to celebrate her daughter Genesis for Mother's Day. The star of "The Woman King" started the carousel with a recent snap of herself and 15-year-old Genesis, going on to share a few adorable baby pics. "A joy and privilege to be your mom," Davis wrote in the caption. "Love my G DEEP!!!!" Davis and husband Julius Tennon adopted Genesis in 2011, which the actor told People gave her "a whole new purpose." 

Charlize Theron is one of many Hollywood actors who shy away from sharing pictures of their families online. However, for Mother's Day 2026, Theron posted a few precious pictures of herself with daughters Jackson and August. In her Instagram post, Theron, who adopted the two girls on her own in 2012 and 2015, respectively, called being a mom "the greatest honor" of her life. The "Atomic Blonde" actor previously expressed on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast that parenting solo is one of the "healthiest decisions" she's made.

For Mother's Day 2026, "Laguna Beach" star Kristin Cavallari posted pictures on Instagram with her children Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor. Cavallari, who shares the three with ex-husband Jay Cutler, wrote in the post's caption that there are "no words" to express her love for them. "At the end of the day, they are the only thing that matters. Being their mom has been the greatest gift," Cavallari added. Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor may just follow in their mom's famous footsteps, as the three appeared on her series "Honestly Cavallari" in 2025. 

Lily Collins has gone through a stunning style transformation since the start of her acting career. However, the "Emily in Paris" actor has recently undergone another change: becoming a mother. Collins and husband Charlie McDowell had daughter Tove with a surrogate in January 2025. For Mother's Day 2026, Collins shared a few pictures of herself and Tove on Instagram, covering her daughter's face with a heart emoji. "Joy is being your mom," Collins wrote. "Thinking of all my fellow mamas and mother figures today, as well as those grieving mothers and motherhood."

Kardashian clan matriarch Kris Jenner is one of Hollywood's most well-known moms, and she took to Instagram for Mother's Day 2026, posting several pictures of her family taken over the years. The carousel's first throwback image features Kris with kids Kim, Rob, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie when they were younger. In the caption, the momager thanked her own mother before writing how she is "endlessly proud" of her daughters, who are now moms themselves.
