Dutton Ranch's Leading Ladies Have Adorable Real-Life Romances
When "Yellowstone" ended in 2024 after its fifth season, fans were given a few spinoffs, such as the prequels "1883" and "1923," but they just weren't the same without our fave characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. Luckily, "Dutton Ranch" was created, which features Kelly Reilly, who is absolutely stunning without makeup, and Cole Hauser as the aforementioned couple, as they navigate running their own cattle farm while dealing with a rival rancher, played by Annette Bening.
Reilly and Hauser's chemistry in "Dutton Ranch" is just like we remembered in "Yellowstone," and it's hard to believe they aren't partners in real life. However, the England native has been married for over a decade to her husband, who prefers to live his life off-camera. The other female stars of the hit western show are in relationships as well, with Bening married to a Hollywood icon for decades. The leading ladies of "Dutton Ranch" may play tough characters, but off-camera, they're totally sweet when it comes to their true romances.
Kelly Reilly met the love of her life at his brother's wedding
Kelly Reilly plays a character who had a tumultuous relationship with her partner before settling down with him, but her real marriage to Kyle Baugher seems nothing but sweet. The two tied the knot in 2012 after meeting at his brother's wedding in Marfa, Texas, Reilly revealed on "The Drew Barrymore Show." She had accompanied her friend to the nuptials, not knowing she would meet her forever person there. "He's the love of my life, and the most beautiful thing that's ever happened to me is my marriage," Reilly gushed. She recalled being terrified of playing Beth Dutton, who has worn the most questionable outfits on "Yellowstone," but Baugher reassured her that even if she failed, he'd be there waiting for her. "And that freed me. It freed me to go, 'Yeah, I'm just going to go for it, and he'll be home,'" she stated.
Although Baugher isn't an actor or a Texan, he reminds Reilly a bit of Rip Wheeler. In an interview with Virgin Radio UK, she compared him to the fictional cowboy of "Dutton Ranch" by stating, "I mean, he's a man ... He's an American man. He's quiet, you know, but ... there's definitely a crossover." Even their honeymoon was very "Yellowstone," with the two jetting off to Montana to ride horses long before Reilly got cast in the show. A meet-cute and a manifestation honeymoon — Reilly and Baugher are serious couple goals.
Annette Bening and Warren Beatty are standing the test of time
Annette Bening has been a Hollywood fixture since starring in the hit '90s films "The Grifters" and "Bugsy," with the latter being the reason she and her longtime husband Warren Beatty fell in love. Beatty wanted to cast Bening for the part of his on-screen lover and had asked her to meet, per Entertainment Weekly. "When I met Annette over lunch for 'Bugsy,' I felt immediately that this was going to change my life," he declared, and he was right. After filming wrapped, the two began dating and welcomed their first child before getting married in 1992. They went on to have their second son in 1994, and their two daughters in 1997 and 2000.
Bening and Beatty are in a celebrity relationship with a bigger age gap than you realized, with 21 years between them, but they make it work. "I had never been attracted to younger guys. I had, from my late teens, always liked men who were older than me," the "American Beauty" star told Express back in 2011. As for Beatty's previous reputation as a womanizer, Bening shrugged it off and shared, "He has been a wonderful father to our family, looks after them, and is a great husband. Maybe he got everything out of his system while he had the chance!"
Natalie Alyn Lind is dating a fellow actor
"Dutton Ranch" wouldn't be complete without some heat, which Natalie Alyn Lind's character, Oreana Jackson, brings in the first episode. She plays the granddaughter of Annette Bening's character and Carter's love interest, and it remains to be seen if the warring families' drama will cause a rift in their possible romance. In real life, it appears Lind is in a relationship with actor Kai Castor, who starred in "Yellowstone" as Rowdy, with the two going Instagram official in March 2022. In an adorable post shared by Castor, the first pic showed him in the bathroom with his girlfriend sitting on the counter, and the second one was a snap of them as kids. Childhood friends-turned sweethearts? How adorable!
Before starring as a cowgirl herself, Lind showed support for her rancher in a December 2022 Instagram post while posing in some Western gear. "Proud of you my cowboy," she wrote. A previous carousel showed the happy couple making various memories together, such as going to the "Yellowstone" Season 5 premiere, dressing up on Halloween, and having fun at Medieval Times. Although they have yet to comment on their relationship, it seems they have no problem showing the world their love for each other.
