"Boy, when you take that down — that perfectionism around weight and body image ... you have so much more mind space."

This internal journey also gives so much more meaning to the joyful style refresh we've witnessed from Gates in recent years, making it a true testament to confidence and autonomy. That said, we do hope that Gates will dip a toe back into the short-hair pool one day.
