Kelly Osbourne Stayed True To Her Signature Rock 'N' Roll Style At 2026 Royal Ascot

Kelly Osbourne has had a stunning evolution over the years, but she has always been known for her alternative style — and she manages to cleverly put her unique flair into nearly every outfit she wears, regardless of the event in question. While attending races at the 2026 Royal Ascot, the TV personality kept her edgy vibe while still fitting the conservative dress code of the festivities. Osbourne was pictured in an all-black outfit, consisting of a long gown with a draped high-neck collar, sparkly platform heels, a Chanel handbag, and an eye-catching bat-shaped headpiece. Though Kelly Osbourne has made a few fashion mistakes over her years in the spotlight, this outfit struck the perfect balance between event-appropriate and true to Osbourne's personality.

During an on-the-street interview, Osbourne explained that her bat-shaped fascinator was designed by London-based milliner HOOD as an homage to her father, late rock-and-roll icon Ozzy Osbourne. The singer became closely associated with the animal after an infamous incident in 1982, during which he accidentally bit the head off of a live bat onstage. Osbourne also wore one of her father's trademark necklaces to the Royal Ascot, more specifically, the Jason of Beverly Hills' Trinity necklace, which retails for just under $18,000. Since her father's passing in July 2025, Osbourne has made several references to her father's legacy through her accessories, including jewelry, sunglasses, and, now, hats. 

While Kelly Osbourne continues to honor her father's memory through fashion, she also raids her mother's closet from time to time. During the interview at the 2026 Royal Ascot, Osbourne provided insider details on her all-black formal attire. Osbourne revealed she was rocking a slinky draped gown "graciously" lent to her by Karen Millen, platform heels by Gina, and a Chanel handbag. In addition to clarifying the significance of her bat-shaped fascinator, the former "Fashion Police" co-host provided some interesting context behind her beaded black clutch: it actually belongs to her mother, Sharon Osbourne. 

"I actually stole this bag from my mum's closet this morning," Kelly said in the interview, laughing as she revealed the relatable story behind her purse. The clutch is covered in a black beaded fringe, making it a surprisingly edgy accessory for the former "The Talk" co-host to have in her closet. While the Osbourne matriarch may not have the same alternative fashion sense as her daughter and late husband, many of Sharon Osbourne's best-dressed moments in her 60s featured chic black dresses, confirming that moody colors suit her just as well as the rest of the family — perhaps we'll see Kelly rocking more edgy items from her mother's collection in the future.
