Kate Middleton's Go-To Earrings Come With A Hefty Price Tag

Kate Middleton is nothing if not a practical woman. While the Princess of Wales has certainly led a lavish life since marrying into the royal family, we've also seen her recycle outfits multiple times throughout her career. It might be surprising to some, but it's nice to know that although Kate undoubtedly has a large closet to pick from, she can be an outfit repeater given the right circumstances. The princess also gets plenty of use out of her favorite accessories. There have been numerous times Kate Middleton has ditched her favorite heels for chic flat shoes, but some of her most spotted accessories are her jewelry pieces — in particular, these flower-shaped pearl earrings by Cassandra Goad. Unsurprisingly, the earrings are royally priced at a whopping $10,210.

Kate first wore them to her son Prince Louis' christening in 2018, and she's had an ongoing love affair with them since. She's worn them to multiple special occasions throughout her royal tenure, including Trooping the Colour 2024 (pictured on the left) and the installation of Dame Sarah Mullally as the Archbishop of Canterbury in March 2026 (pictured on the right). Those aren't the only times Kate has been spotted sporting these earrings, either. She wore them again to Trooping the Colour 2026 and a host of other engagements. Although the price tag is pretty hefty, the princess definitely gets her money's worth out of those earrings — girl math at its finest.

Kate Middleton famously re-wears clothes and accessories

As we mentioned previously, Kate Middleton isn't afraid to repeat an item of clothing or an accessory. A coat here, a pair of earrings there — she's famously seen wearing her favorites again and again, and we love that about her. While there's one royally strict fashion rule Kate Middleton rarely breaks, it's refreshing to see a literal princess with such a down-to-earth approach to fashion. Another set of earrings Kate has been clocked in multiple times is the sapphire and diamond beauties pictured above. These earrings are arguably even more special because they belonged to Princess Diana. The princess was seen wearing them to Trooping the Colour in 2022 and again while attending the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in 2023.

It was a big deal when Kate first wore these in public back in 2022 because it was the first time they'd been seen since the passing of Princess Diana. Princess Diana famously wore them to the Met Gala in 1996 (pictured above), making them a significant family heirloom. It's easy to see why Kate fell in love with them. Like Diana's infamous blue sapphire engagement ring, they're so unique and eye-catching. It's no wonder why Kate continues to keep them handy for royal occasions. That's not all, either. Kate often wears other jewelry that belonged to Diana, most notably her sapphire engagement ring that Prince William proposed with, but she also loves to dig into Diana's collection of tiaras, necklaces, and bracelets.
