Iman Stunned As A Supermodel In The '80s - Here's What She Looks Like Now

Iman is one of the most iconic supermodels of the 1980s. In addition to her prolific work in the modeling industry, the multi-hyphenate star has expanded her career to include acting and writing, and even launched her own fragrance, clothing line, and cosmetics brand. The fact that she was married to late rock icon David Bowie for 24 years is, impressively, just a footnote in her story. In the 40 years since Iman stunned the world with her beauty and grace on the runway, she has grown even more beautiful.

Iman was spotted attending the Fragrance Foundation Awards in June 2026, where she was pictured in a bold red dress. The supermodel's complexion is just as smooth as it was in the '80s; for the event, she opted for a glamorous smokey eye and nude, glossy lips to complete her perfect soft glam look. Iman wore her hair in loose dark brown curls at the ceremony, but has been known to experiment with color — over the years, she has occasionally rocked a warm-toned blonde that suits her skin tone perfectly.

Iman has shared some of her coveted beauty secrets with the public

Iman isn't gatekeeping the beauty tips that have helped her maintain her glowing complexion throughout her storied career. In 2021, the supermodel shared some of her routine with Vogue — highlighting her holistic view of beauty and wellness. Physical health is just as important to prioritize as external appearance; Iman told the outlet that she drinks a mixture of turmeric, ginger, and water to boost her immune system — ingredients she later incorporates into a face mask along with milk and honey. "A beauty secret I've used since I was 12 years old, it's from Somalia. We're taught from a young age that the skin you take care of in your 20s is the one you inherit in your 60s and 70s," Iman said. "You have to take care of your skin — no matter what age you are." Face masks are a large part of Iman's beauty routine. She told People that she swears by SK-II Singapore's "miraculous" 3D Redefining Mask to rejuvenate her complexion.

While keeping your skin healthy is an easy way to look fresh-faced when you don't have makeup – something Iman certainly takes to heart — the model has also explained that internal wellness and self-love are paramount. The model, who turned 70 in 2025, stays healthy by boxing and hiking, but has accepted weight gain and other physical changes as a natural part of aging. "In Africa, we are taught that it's a privilege to get old. I have never lied about my age," Iman told People. "Plastic surgery — I'm not against it, but it's not for me. But on Zoom, get yourself good lighting!"
