Dutton Ranch Star Natalie Alyn Lind's Bleach-Blond Locks Aren't Her Natural Hair Color

Aside from being a "Dutton Ranch" standout, Natalie Alyn Lind has had a stunning beauty evolution over the years. Much like fellow "Dutton Ranch" star Kelly Reilly's hair evolution, she's had a serious glow-up in that department. While Lind's character Oreana Jackson has become synonymous with her bleach-blond locks, you may be surprised to know that her natural color actually skews a lot darker.

As you can see in this early photo of the actor, taken in 2011, her OG hair color is more of an auburn shade. Her natural locks are gorgeous, but so different than her "Dutton Ranch" character's. Lind has spent plenty of time in the public eye, having made her acting debut in 2006 on "One Tree Hill." Since then, we've seen the actor transition through several different hair colors, ranging from her natural reddish brown shade to a deeper red and even brunette. If anything, the actor proved she isn't afraid to switch up her look. It's hard to say what led Lind to start dyeing her hair blond, but we will say that it started long before her "Dutton Ranch" days.

Natalie Alyn Lind loves to experiment with her hair color

Natalie Alyn Lind has been experimenting with her hair pretty much since she began acting as a child. Both of the above photos were taken in 2014 just months apart. At the time, Lind was around 14, and you can tell that she went from Christina Hendricks-level red to a lighter shade of dirty blond at the drop of a hat. While this new blond look might have just been a personal preference, little did she know that later her look would become her iconic "Dutton Ranch" character's signature style.

Oreana is known for being the rebellious, strong-minded daughter of Rob-Will Jackson, and Lind told People that she loves how polarizing her character is. "[She's] a very complicated character, and she's full of all of these emotions and depths," Lind said. "At the end of the day, she does come from a place of sensitivity. I think that exactly how people are seeing my character is what I hoped for. I find it boring to play a character that everybody just loves."
