The Worst-Dressed Attendees At Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's Wedding

Pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce tied the knot on July 3, 2026, after having dated for almost three years. The highly anticipated wedding took place in New York City's Madison Square Garden, and with an estimated 1,000 guests, the event was anything but a small and intimate gathering. While the wedding itself is still shrouded in mystery, we got to see some of the famous arrivals as they head to or leave the MSG arena. And while we've seen quite a few best-dressed celeb wedding guests of 2026 so far, Swift and Kelce's wedding unfortunately also had a couple of questionable fashion choices.

Nevertheless, keep in mind that style is a personal matter. While we wouldn't have necessarily chosen these garments for the American royal wedding, the truth is that none of the attendees looked awful. In fact, with tiny tweaks most of these could have easily been among the best dressed of the night.

Camila Cabello's dramatic red dress had too much going on

Singer Camila Cabello was photographed heading to Madison Square Garden for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding. The singer was in a sheer red lace dress by Zimmermann that had potential but ultimately didn't work well. While the daring color looks beautiful on the "Havana" singer, the bulky silhouette simply ate her up. Had it been either shorter or a tad more tailored and fitting, this could have easily been one of the best looks of the night. Of course, Cabello is known to be among the celebs that have the worst style, so this faux pas isn't really surprising.

Abigail Anderson and Laura Kruk experienced every guest's worst nightmare

We can't imagine how Taylor Swift's BFF, Abigail Anderson, and NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster's Fiancée, Laura Kruk, felt when they spotted each other rocking the exact same dress at the wedding of the year. Both ladies wore a corset dress by Sau Lee, and while each of them looked alright in the garment, the look wasn't spectacular enough to justify seeing it twice. While Taylor Swift's wedding turned into Met Gala 2.0, it could have benefited from one rule the annual event is strict about.

Kaia Harris's floral purple dress overwhelmed her

Kaia Harris attended the star-studded wedding alongside her husband, NFL defensive end George Karlaftis. While Harris' makeup and hair looked great — we're particularly fond of the sleek updo with fun curly face-framing tendrils — her dress left plenty to be desired. For one, the silhouette seemed like it could have been tailored better, especially under her bust. But then there's the busy pattern, which overwhelmed the look, and paired with the petal details along the neckline, it was simply too much.

Rebecca Arthur's ensemble shined and not in a good way

Going for a head-to-toe sparkly look can easily backfire, and actor Rebecca Arthur had to learn that the hard way. For the Madison Square Garden wedding, Arthur donned a silver sequin gown that unfortunately looked cheap and costume-like. The garment shone from miles away, taking the attention away from Arthur's beauty, which is a shame, because we adored the star's makeup and hair. While we love bold and daring fashion, sometimes less is definitely more.

Dr. Mariel Bird's gold dress looked like it could slip off at any moment

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Mariel Bird was also among those who attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's star-studded wedding. Just like Rebecca Arthur, Bird also opted to go all out, and similarly, it also backfired. While Arthur went for silver, Bird opted for head-to-toe sparkly gold, wearing a strapless dress with a deep V-neckline and floretes on the bust. The look was dramatic and sparkly, and it kind of seemed as if the heavy dress would slide down at any moment.

Amanda Santa's liquid dress seems too heavy a choice for a summer wedding

As the girlfriend of Travis Kelce's manager, Aaron Eanes, Amanda Santa was also on the guest list for the wedding of the year. For the occasion, she went with a liquid-effect dark brown dress that was certainly a very moody and dramatic look. While we don't hate the dress per se, we don't find it the best choice for a summer wedding, even one held inside. However, we have to give credit where credit is due — Santa accessorized the garment perfectly, with delicate jewelry and strappy silver heels.

Jenny Han's floral number seemed like a last-minute decision

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" writer Jenny Han was also among the lucky ones who got an invite to Swift and Kelce's wedding. Those familiar with the adaptation of the books know that numerous Swift songs were used in it, so it's not surprising that Han was among the guests the couple wanted to witness their big day. Now, while it's unlikely that Han got a last-minute invite, her outfit certainly suggests so. The writer donned a basic strapless floral dress for a look that ended up being underwhelming.

Anna Elisabet Eberstein's graphic dress was a tad too casual

Hollywood star Hugh Grant's wife also left us disappointed with her fashion choice for the Swift Kelce nuptials. Anna Elisabet Eberstein wore a black halter dress with red and orange graphic details around the neck and down the center. While the garment would have been a great choice for a normal summer dinner, a wedding calls for a bit more glamour. Paired with the fact that Eberstein barely accessorized the look, the end result certainly looked too casual.
