Bunnie Xo's IVF Journey Was Marred By 'Miserable People' Commenting On Her Weight
Bunnie Xo is one celebrity who lives her life like an open book. Many fans have gotten used to how Bunnie Xo embraces uncomfortable conversations in her marriage, for example. But that doesn't mean there aren't sensitive areas she'd rather keep off-limits. Among them are her IVF journey and the changes to her body caused by the treatments.
Bunnie got candid on her "Dumb Blonde" podcast when speaking with Baylen Dupree about their shared struggles with endometriosis, weight gain, and online critics. For Bunnie, it was during her in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey when she gained weight and saw an increase in negative social media comments on her body. "As I was going through IVF, it put weight on me, and people would be like, 'Oh, she's bigger than her husband now,'" Bunnie said. The online criticism only added to the stress she was already feeling over her fertility struggles. "You're literally trying to make a baby with your body, and it's like people just have no respect," Bunnie explained. "The internet is just so crazy, but I've learned that it's just miserable people who have nothing better to do than just comment on other people's lives. So you can't ever let that get to you."
IVF has been no easy feat for Bunnie, as she's revealed on her podcast, "It wrecked me emotionally, spiritually, physically." It even required both Bunnie and her estranged husband Jelly Roll to undergo hormone treatments that she says "trauma-bonded" them enough to continue with plans to start a family despite their divorce (via People).
Bunny Xo and Jelly Roll are planning to start a family, despite their split
Despite their surprising split after almost 10 years of an up-and-down marriage, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll are still determined to start a family together. The decision is another example of the duo being one of "the most unconventional couples" in the entertainment industry, according to Bunnie on a June 2026 episode of her podcast (via People). Given all the chatter surrounding their decade-long romance, with astrologers even predicting what's ahead for Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo, the "Dumb Blonde" podcast host took to her platform to explain why, after filing for divorce, the pair are still continuing on with their fertility journey.
"We're still having a baby together," Bunnie revealed. "So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered." Much of the details surrounding the couple have fueled speculation about whether Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's fire-hot romance was fake, with astrologers debunking the rumors. The same month Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie, she claimed the duo was still moving forward with trying for a baby. "We're going to co-parent together," she said.
Bunnie remains adamant that she and Jelly Roll are on "the best possible terms" one could hope for in a divorce, and she's still looking forward to their future as parents. "I'm so excited to live my life through a child's eyes, which is why this baby journey, I'm not going to let it break me, and I'm not going to deter it," she said. "And J has been so f—ing great about us still having a baby together and he wants the same thing. And we're just going to raise little Nugget as one big happy family."
