The Real-Life Partners Of Ted Lasso's Leading Ladies

One of the things "Ted Lasso" fans love about the hit Apple TV show, which returned for its fourth season in August 2026, is that it's like a warm cozy blanket. (If you're wondering why our comfort shows and movies are so soothing, a psychologist explains here.) We also tune in for the love. There's teammate and workplace love, relationship love, and familial love in almost every episode. At the end of Season 3 (spoiler alert!), Hannah Waddingham's character Rebecca had reunited with a Dutch airline pilot. Meanwhile, Juno Temple, as Keeley, hadn't chosen Jamie or Roy, leaving fans eager to see where their love stories would pick up.

Off-screen, the leading ladies of the show have found love as well, as actors like Hannah Waddingham and Mary Roscoe are in long-term relationships. While we're unsure of the relationship status of some of the Season 4 newbies, at least one appears to be in a high-profile relationship. Are these the partners you pictured with the leading ladies of "Ted Lasso?"

Hannah Waddingham's boyfriend has her back

A recurring plotline in "Ted Lasso" is Rebecca's desire to be a mother. In real life, Hannah Waddingham has seen that come to fruition. Her daughter Kitty was born in 2014, while she was in a relationship with Italian businessman Gianluca Cugnetto. After her split from Cugnetto when Kitty was 2, she took time out to focus on herself and her daughter. And now, Hannah Waddingham not only proves fun fashion is possible in your 50s, as she did at the "Ted Lasso" premiere; she proved that love is, too.

The star, who turned 52 in July 2026, is dating spine surgeon Nick Beresford-Cleary. While we're unsure when the couple became an official item, she has previously said she was single for eight years, so we'd guess it was sometime in 2025. The couple has been seen at numerous events in 2026, including the horse races at the Cheltenham Festival in March, the Wimbledon Championships in June, and at a "Ted Lasso" premiere in July.

Juno Temple met her husband on the set of Ted Lasso

Juno Temple's "Ted Lasso" character Keeley, known for being "almost famous," lives her life pretty publicly on the show. In real life? Not so much. The English actor, who turned 37 in July 2026, has kept her private life on the down-low, though she has revealed tidbits through the years about husband Michal Szymanski. In a June 2024 interview with The Los Angeles Times, she referred to Szymanski as her fiancé. And in August 2026, she revealed on Virgin Radio U.K.'s "TFI Unplugged" that she had gotten married. Though she didn't share the wedding date, she confirmed it had happened in the previous two years.

So where did she meet her Polish partner? He was Hannah Waddingham's driver for "Ted Lasso" in 2021. There are plenty of things to consider before dating a co-worker, and for these workmates, it all went well. Szymanski, who has done some acting as well, has accompanied Temple on red carpets since 2022. The pair bought a house together, she revealed in the Virgin Radio interview. During the segment, Waddingham said of the couple, "They are the greatest oxygen to each other."

Tanya Reynolds might be in a relationship with a fellow Apple TV actor in real life

Tanya Reynolds is a new addition to "Ted Lasso" for Season 4. She plays Alice, a coach for the AFC Richmond's women's team. She rarely cracks a smile and has an icy exterior. While Reynolds has been acting for years, American audiences will likely notice her as Lily from "Sex Education." Back in 2016, while filming the 2019 historical drama "The Delivered," she met fellow actor Freddie Fox. The two reportedly began dating in 2020.

Fox, who also appears on an Apple TV series "Slow Horses," has appeared with Reynolds again since "The Delivered." The duo were in the play "She Stoops to Conquer" in 2024. They were snapped at a friend's wedding the summer of 2025, but keep a very low profile otherwise. While there are no reports of a breakup, the two haven't publicly confirmed their relationship, either. In 2020, a source told The Sun that they were self-isolating together at Fox's London residence. "Freddie likes to keep his private life private so hasn't been making a big song and dance about their relationship. It's early days but the pair are infatuated with each other." Fast-forward to 2024, and the pair were snapped holding hands while out and about in London, appearing to still be going strong.

These two Ted Lasso fan favorites are a real-life couple

While Mary Roscoe, in the role of Julie Higgins, isn't one of the most prominent characters on "Ted Lasso," she is one of the most beloved. She's that everywoman that we love to love: supportive wife and mom of five, mother figure to the AFC Richmond players, and of course, funny with a sharp tongue. So who is her real life husband? None other than Jeremy Swift, who plays Leslie Higgins, her on-screen husband.

The pair met while acting in a play together, married in 1992, and have a son and daughter. According to a 2021 interview with The Los Angeles Times, when "Ted Lasso" co-creator Bill Lawrence asked Swift if he got along well with his wife, he jokingly replied, "Well, we're not divorced," and she was cast in the role of Julie. In June 2026, Swift posted an Instagram tribute to his wife, writing, "Adorable, sexy, audacious and many other words like this! 34 years together. Happy birthday darling. Xx." Is it too on the nose if we say this couple is goals?

Ted Lasso's ex-wife is happily partnered in real life

Ted Lasso's ex-wife Michelle is back in Season 4 of the series, co-parenting her and Ted's son Henry from afar. But what is actor Andrea Anders' real life relationship status? The "That '90s Show" star partnered up with Hollywood writer and producer Jason Keller, with whom she has one daughter, Audrey, born in 2016. Keller also has two daughters from his previous marriage, who Anders has publicly doted on. Keller's latest Tinseltown project is "Stick" starring Owen Wilson, which Anders has promoted on Instagram, sharing how proud she is of her partner. In a twist of fate, keen "Ted Lasso" fans may have noticed that Michelle's maiden name is Keller.

Prior to finding love with Keller, Anders was in an eight-year relationship from 2006 to 2014 with Matt LeBlanc. The two co-starred together on the "Friends" spin-off "Joey," where she played his love interest.
