Here's What The Leading Ladies Of Full House Look Like Now

During the late '80s to mid-1990s, family-focused television shows reigned, and "Full House" was right at the top. The sitcom centered around a single dad named Danny Tanner raising his three girls, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle Tanner, in a quaint San Francisco house. Joining him along for the ride were his friends, funnyman Joey Gladstone and Jesse Katsopolis, who would later marry Becky Donaldson, making for a literal full house. Have mercy!

Back then, the Tanner kids were all, well, kids, with D.J. being the eldest. Now, Candace Cameron Bure is living her best life as a Great American Family producer and is a mom of her own. She, along with the other "Full House" leading ladies, has come a long way since their sitcom days and has changed quite a bit. And while Lori Loughlin is still recognizable as Aunt Becky, others, like Jodi Sweetin, look nothing like their former toddler selves. And there's also those who, like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, have disappeared from the media. After almost 40 years since the show's premiere, the "Full House" females remain fan faves, and here's what they look like now.

Candace Cameron Bure was just 11 years old when she first played tween D.J. Tanner, with her long tawny hair framing her adorably cherubic cheeks. She first had an age-appropriate 'do, with wispy bangs and a slightly teased crown, but Cameron Bure has since had a stunning style transformation. As she and her character got older, the hair got bigger — a look she achieved with loads of Aqua Net, as she told People. "You know that you all had the same hairstyle, and if you didn't, you tried to have it. Just some big bangs, up high, a lot of hairspray, wings on the outside. That's what the '80s and '90s were for, man — big hair," the Hallmark alum told the publication in 2020.

As an adult, Cameron Bure experimented with several different cuts and colors, including a cinnamon-hued shaggy bob she showed off on Instagram in 2016. "Red hair don't care ... For those of you who haven't seen my Mystery Movie series on Hallmark, I play Aurora Teagarden in the 'Aurora Teagarden Mysteries,' based on the best-selling books by Charlaine Harris. We are shooting movies 5 and 6 soon!" the former child star wrote. These days, she's back to her blond roots, rocking a slightly wavy blunt bob that is one of the most popular hairstyles in the 2020s. The cut looks gorgeous against her striking cheekbones, although D.J. Tanner would have insisted on bolder bangs.

"Full House" wouldn't have been complete without the middle child, Stephanie Tanner. Played by 5-year-old Jodie Sweetin at the onset of the first season, she grew up right before the viewers' eyes, becoming a young teen by the moment the show wrapped in 1995. Over the years, fans saw Sweetin's character rock blunt bangs with curls and accompanied her in different storylines, like the time she was feeling self-conscious about her first pair of glasses — just things every teenager can relate to. Now a mom of two in her 40s, Sweetin celebrated her milestone birthday in January 2022 with an important message. "I remember thinking that 40 was such an 'official' age when I was younger. Now? I realize 40 is just STARTING to feel like an adult. It's old enough to have learned from lots of mistakes, but young enough to still go for the adventure. It's finally feeling great in my own skin," she wrote on Instagram.

Sweetin may not be a tween anymore, but she's an over-40 celeb who struggles with acne, which she remedied by drinking more water. "My skin cleared up! Which is huge, because I was having crazy-weird cystic acne, all this stuff. But just with drinking water, with taking probiotics, with taking vitamins, I've noticed such a difference!" she told New Beauty in 2023. Perhaps that's why when it comes to makeup, the "Fuller House" star keeps things light, preferring a more natural look, while still having fun with pops of color from time to time.

Lori Loughlin wasn't supposed to be a main cast member on "Full House" as Becky Donaldson, but when she joined the show in Season 2, her chemistry with John Stamos was undeniable. With her glossy brunette mane and sparkling eyes, she rounded out the cast as Uncle Jesse's love interest, and together, they were a very well-coiffed pair. Having joined the group at 23 years old, she was 31 at the show's end, and has managed to retain her gorgeous looks in her 60s.

Loughlin clearly takes care of herself inside and out, telling People in 2020, "I'm not a big drinker. I love champagne, but I don't have champagne every night. If I go out and I want to have a drink, I'll have a glass of champagne." As for her beauty secrets, she revealed, "I'm very good about taking care of my skin and keeping up with facials. I'm a big believer in always taking care of your skin. And my mom takes care of herself, but she didn't come from that world where you went and got a facial. And she looks fantastic." Good genes obviously run in the family, since Loughlin is one of the Hallmark stars over 50 who are aging like fine wine.

Every sitcom needs that annoying neighbor/friend, and Andrea Barber played the archetype perfectly in "Full House" as Kimmy Gibbler. Gibbler was DJ Tanner's BFF and Danny Tanner's bane, and she was known for wearing outfits just as outrageous as her personality. On a June 2026 episode of her podcast, "How Rude, Tanneritos!" Barber recalled her costumes (17:40), "were always kinda crazy, but they get progressively worse as we get closer and closer to the end of the series." She continued, "I didn't want to feel any more awkward than I already felt as a teenage girl on a hit television show in front of millions of people."

Despite having to wear off-the-wall 'fits as a tween, Barber has no qualms about donning colorful clothes as an ode to her character, such as the multi-patterned dress she wore to the 2019 Kids' Choice Awards. She told People in April 2026, "As I approach 50, I just feel so much more comfortable in my own skin, especially compared to teenage me. I'm comfortable poking fun at myself, wearing wacky things, smiling and laughing at myself. It's a great feeling to just be at ease with who you are." Kimmy Gibbler would have definitely approved this message.
