2026 Vs. 2022: Ella Langley's Bangs Completely Transformed Her Look

Ella Langley's hair has gone through quite the transformation throughout her career. The country star made her mark on the music industry with hit songs like "If You Have To" and "Choosin' Texas." These days, it's hard not to notice how much Langley's hair has changed after the addition of her now-iconic bangs. When Langley was starting out in the country music scene, her hair was often worn in relaxed waves with minimal layering. The chic look is so closely associated with Langley that fans often cite her as an example when getting their own curtain bangs. It can be difficult to cut and style your own curtain bangs at home, which is something the "You Look Like You Love Me" singer knows quite well. Though Langley's bangs are now impeccable, she's explained that her signature style came from a bad hair moment. On Theo Von's podcast "This Past Weekend" in April 2026, Langley recalled giving herself an impromptu haircut. "Like 20 minutes before I walked out onstage, I decided to cut my fringe a little bit, and it was so bad," Langley said. "I was shooting the cover art for my first record that next week and [creative director Caylee Robillard] was like, 'Hate you.' So I just told her, full send it with the bangs. I don't think I can ever change it. It changed my life a little bit, I would say."

To create Langley's glamorous volume and texture, Bear has revealed on Instagram that he uses texturizing sprays from brands like Kevin Murphy, Bumble and Bumble, and UNITE (Bear also uses volumizing powder from UNITE to pump up Langley's dark brown locks). The HMUA also holds Langley's hair and lengthening extensions in place with got2B hair spray. If you don't have the energy to cycle through the many products Bear uses to make Langley camera-ready, there are easier ways to volumize your hair when you don't have time. However, by taking the time to carefully layer products for maximum effect, Langley and Bear have created an iconic, highly imitated look that we just adore.
