Who The Cast Of Netflix's Little House On The Prairie Reboot Are Dating In Real Life

Touching family moments and romantic relationships among characters are at the heart of Netflix's "Little House on the Prairie" reboot. With relatable struggles and realistic hair and makeup inspired by the land, it's easy to become invested in the romances between characters like Charles and Caroline Ingalls, Dr. George Tann and Emily Henderson, and William Mitchell and White Sun. "How they cared for and respected each other, we don't see enough of that on screen," said White Sun actor Alyssa Wapanatâhk to Tudum about her on-screen relationship. 

The realistic chemistry portrayed by the  actors can make it hard not to ship the couples in real life. For Ingalls actors Luke Bracey and Crosby Fitzgerald, who've yet to make any relationships red-carpet or Instagram official, there's certainly potential for them to make their "Little House on the Prairie" romance a reality. "Just from the get-go, it was like talking to one of your old mates and we became fast, fast friends and really fantastic teammates," Bracey told People about Fitzgerald. "I couldn't ask for a better Caroline."

Although the leading stars of the show remain single, there are a number of Netflix's "Little House on the Prairie" actors who've found love off-screen. Wapanatâhk, Barrett Doss, and Mary Holland are among the stars officially off the market — here's a look at their real-life partners.

Barrett Doss stars as Emily Henderson, owner of the town's general store, in Netflix's "Little House on the Prairie" reboot. While her character finds herself at the center of a budding romance with Jocko Sims' Dr. George Tann, Doss is far past the honeymoon stage with her real-life partner and fellow actor, Austin Durant. Photos of the two date back to 2022 on Doss' Instagram. 

While Durant doesn't currently have any posts with Doss on his profile, he confirmed that the two were married in a Daily Times interview about "Moulin Rouge," a Broadway production in which he starred as Ringmaster Zidler. "When I finally established myself as an actor and put down roots both in New York and LA, the tour of 'Moulin Rouge' came through, so I'm still going from city to city while my wife is in LA," shared Durant, giving a peek into his and Doss' busy lifestyle. Durant is best known for his appearances in several TV series like "Matlock," "Big Dogs," and "Succession."

Like her "Little House on the Prairie" character, Jemma James, Mary Holland is married. Her real-life partner is North Carolina native Matt Newell, a fellow actor and writer.  The duo wanted a fairy-tale wedding like other celebs, but had to pivot given the COVID-19 quarantine mandate in 2020. Holland and Newell held their wedding via Zoom on Halloween, giving guests the option to dress up for the holiday. "Most people chose Halloween costumes, which was a real joy for us ... My sister was dressed as Morticia Addams and my father was dressed up as Kevin Costner's character from the show 'Yellowstone,'" Holland shared while appearing on "A Little Late with Lilly Singh."

While Newell keeps his life rather private, he does appear in photos alongside Holland in a number of Instagram posts, including a promotional pic by an improv comedy club, where he participated in a show by The Upright Citizens Brigade. Newell studied improv at UCBT in Los Angeles and North Carolina's Comedy Sportz.

In Netflix's "Little House on the Prairie" reboot, Alyssa Wapanatâhk stars as White Sun, a Native American woman of the Osage tribe. In the series, White Sun is married to Meegwun Fairbrother's William Mitchell, with whom she shares daughter Good Eagle (Wren Zhawenim Gotts). In real life, Wapanatâhk is also partnered up, and has children. The actor attended a "Peter Pan & Wendy" special screening in 2023 with her partner Dylan Gidlow and her daughter, Nitanis. Though she hasn't confirmed marriage or engagement, the "Riverdale" star shared a photo of a gold ring stack in a February 2026 Instagram carousel that suggests she may have tied the knot.

In April 2026, Wapanatâhk also shared an adorable photo of her son Nîpsîy, whom she welcomed in 2024. Outside what's shared in a few random social posts, much like her co-stars, the majority of the actor's family dynamics remain unknown. The Netflix "Little House on the Prairie" cast is just one group of actors who keeps the details of their love lives private.
