Some do it just for fun, and others want to tie the knot legally in one place before hosting an extravagant ceremony in another country. Yes, it's a bit excessive. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner got married twice a week apart, first in London and then in Sicily. Some celebrities — like Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber — got married multiple times and had a vow renewal ceremony, too. It's clear these celebs love love, and they want the world to know it. "And we didn't believe in doing that until we were married, so we got legally married."

In September 2019, the couple had a religious ceremony in front of friends and family (and plenty of celebrities) at the Somerset Chapel. A source told People in 2019, after the ceremony, "They had the best wedding and the best celebration. It was all flawless and absolutely magical. ... Although they were already married, their religious wedding ceremony was very important. It now feels more official for them."

In May 2024, Hailey and Justin did a joint vow renewal ceremony and pregnancy announcement photoshoot in Hawaii for baby Jack Blues, who was born in August 2024. At the event, Hailey nailed spring 2024's delicate lace trend, glowing proudly as she showed her baby bump.

When Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got married, they wanted to blend their two cultures — which they did with two totally different wedding ceremonies. First, Jonas and Chopra participated in several Indian traditions and rituals that lasted several days. Then, they had a Christian wedding in India on December 1, 2018, which was officiated by Jonas' dad. The next day, the bride and groom had a traditional Hindu ceremony. In an interview with People afterward, in 2018, the "Quantico" star said, "Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day." She added that their weddings "melted [her] heart."

"I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up," Chopra told the outlet. "We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. Not to mention, Chopra got to wear double the wedding outfits. For her Western wedding, she used a white Ralph Lauren dress, and for her Hindu wedding, she wore a red sari.

Even if you religiously keep up with the Kardashians, you might have missed that Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker had not one, not two, but three wedding ceremonies! The couple tied the knot in Portofino, Italy, in May 2022, in a beautiful ceremony full of family and friends, with a reception inside a historic castle called Castello Brown. "Introducing Mr. And Mrs. Barker," Kardashian captioned a post on Instagram on May 22, showing off the happily married couple. A week prior, they got legally married in a courthouse in Santa Barbara, California. Kardashian shared pictures on Instagram of the two in a convertible, captioned, "Till death do us part."

However, these aren't the only ceremonies Kardashian and Barker had. In April 2022, the couple got married in Las Vegas after the Grammys. An insider told E! News after the fact that Kardashian and Barker "didn't want to wait another second" to tie the knot. Although they couldn't get an official marriage certificate that night, they still did the ceremony for fun and as "a warm-up for the real thing," added the source.

Two is double the fun, so why not have double wedding ceremonies? Dua Lipa and Callum Turner did just that in May 2026 and June 2026. First, the couple made their marriage legal at a town hall in London on May 31. The "One Kiss" singer wore a white skirt suit by Schiaparelli couture with a Stephen Jones hat and white Christian Louboutin pumps, while Turner wore a navy Ferragamo suit.

A week later, Lipa and Turner got married again on June 6, this time in a lavish affair in Sicily. The three-day event included a ceremony in the 18th-century mansion known as Villa Valguarnera, where Elton John himself sang "Your Song" to the couple as they said their vows. According to the outlet, the couple also had several receptions in luxurious locations, including the Gallery of Modern Art, Palazzo Gangi, and Piazza Croce dei Vespri. Lipa shared several photos of the beautiful wedding on Instagram, captioned simply "Mr & Mrs."
