"8 Simple Rules" star Amy Davidson is one of many red-haired celebrities who make us want to try the flaming-hot look. Davidson maintains her red hair by dyeing her gray roots at home. In a September 2026 promotional video for L'Oréal Paris on Instagram, Davidson said she's been doing her own hair for a while now. "At this point, I've pretty much mastered the art of keeping this red fresh," she added in the caption.

Amy Davidson has had some major life changes since leaving "8 Simple Rules," including marrying Kacy Lockwood in 2010 and welcoming their son, Lennox Sawyer Lockwood, in 2016. The "Killing It" actor also celebrated a huge milestone in her sobriety journey: being around 600 days alcohol free. She shared a post on Instagram on August 18, 2026, commemorating specifically 594 days sober.

"It's kind of chic to CHOOSE not to drink on a daily basis," she wrote over one photo. Over another, she said, "It's kind of chic to look in the mirror and be proud of myself." Davidson looks beautiful in these snaps, and it's clear that she has joined the ranks of other female celebrities who ditched alcohol and look absolutely radiant.

Davidson is focused on her physical health as well. In June 2026, she posted a mirror selfie on Instagram taken inside [solidcore] gym, dressed in a green crop top and black leggings. She had no makeup on, and her hair looked sweaty, as if she just finished working out. "They say quitting is easy, but showing up is hard," Davidson captioned the post. "They're right ... I considered quitting every 10 seconds." We're happy she doesn't, because she looks amazing.
