Dolly Parton's Famous Sister Stella Was A Total Bombshell In The '80s

We know for a fact that Dolly Parton's famous sister, Stella Parton, is still so stunning today, but we were more than curious to dig up a few throwback photos of Dolly's fellow country singer. Mostly, we wanted to see what she looked like in one of our favorite eras: the '80s. After all, this was such an influential decade that, to this day, there are so many fashion trends from the '80s making a major comeback. What we found was pure gold. Stella Parton was a total bombshell in the '80s as she fully embraced the fashion and beauty trends of the time.

This shot of the star was taken in 1982 and features her with an epic side ponytail, oversized sweater, pearl necklace, and clutch. It doesn't get more '80s than that. Like Dolly, Stella was already a country singer in her own right at this point in time, and that year, she released her seventh studio album called "So Far ... So Good." 

Stella Parton is an established country singer in her own right, but what many don't know is that she was also a fashionista in the '80s — just like Dolly Parton, who will be remembered as a fashion icon thanks to her stunning looks. The above photo of Stella was taken in 1980 and, as you can see, the singer's curly hairstyle and bangs were so chic. She also loved to rock classic prints like polka dots, and her scarf in this photo was a really nice touch. 

The late Dolly Parton's style certainly changed over the course of decades, but she too knew how to rock a good '80s-style look. She wore this denim dress and boots combo for her Tennessee Mountain Home Thanksgiving special in 1987 on ABC. It had all the elements of a quintessential Dolly outfit—all it was missing were some rhinestones! Her big hair and oversized earrings also complemented the '80s silhouette of the dress perfectly. Together, the Parton sisters were a total powerhouse duo in fashion, and we could spend hours digging up outfit inspo from their looks during this era.
