What Original Baywatch Star Pamela Anderson's Exes Have Said About Her

Pamela Anderson is known as one of the most beautiful women in the world, and with that has come a highly publicized love life. The original "Baywatch" star has been in the public eye for over three decades, and during that time fans have not only witnessed Pamela Anderson's stunning style transformation, but have seen her fall in and out of love multiple times. You could say that the mom-of-two doesn't necessarily have a type either, since she's been linked to an actor, Scott Baio, a male model, Marcus Schenkenberg, and even WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange. Then there was real estate mogul Laurence Hallier, poker player Rick Salomon, and soccer player Adil Rami. Anderson was romantically involved with some non-famous men too, like electrician Jamie Padgett, and her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst. 

When it comes to her romantic history, Anderson admitted in her memoir "Love, Pamela," "As I matured, I noticed most of my boyfriends were bad — and progressively got worse" (via BBC). And while some fans hoped that she found her happily-ever-after with her "The Naked Gun" costar Liam Neeson in 2026, she's happily single. "I don't need anybody in my way ... There's that great Osho quote -– 'The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love.' That's where I'm at right now," she told AnOther in 2026. Anderson may be done with romance for now, but she still has famous exes who've talked about her post-breakup. So, let's break down what those exes have said.

Pamela Anderson's most famous ex is perhaps Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, whom she married in 1995, after meeting him only four days prior. The couple later welcomed sons, Brandon and Dylan, before divorcing in 1998 when their infamous sex tape leaked. While the two got back together in 2008, they split again in 2010. Yet, Anderson wrote in her 2023 memoir, "My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love" (via People).

It seems that Lee has a soft spot for Anderson as well, since he tried to comfort her when "Pam and Tommy," the TV series about their sex tape, came out in 2023. Anderson told Variety, "I remember Tommy writing me a note saying, 'Don't let this hurt you like it did the first time,' because he had heard through the kids that I was kind of struggling with the idea of bringing this all up again." Anderson went on release her own documentary about her life, and Lee told ET in 2022, "I respect her for telling her version." While Lee and Anderson don't have a close relationship, they'll always be connected through their children. 

Tommy Lee wasn't Pamela Anderson's first rocker romance, since the "Barb Wire" star dated Poison frontman Bret Michaels in 1993. While the relationship quickly ended a year later, the "Rock of Love" star did make it a point to try to impress her family by getting Anderson's mother on stage to sing with her favorite band, The Beach Boys. Unfortunately, that didn't work, and Anderson told Michaels that her mother still didn't like him. He explained to Blender in 2009, "The mom really didn't like the rocker thing or the way I looked — Pamela had never dated a rocker before. I think that played a big part in the relationship" (via E! News). 

Anderson, however, blamed their split on Michaels not wanting to be monogamous, even if he later claimed that she liked the drama. He told PR in 2007, "Once she got a little taste of that rock ... She got that bad boy thing and then she just couldn't go back" (via InStyle).

Anderson and Michaels remained on good terms though, and in 1998, he helped her block the release of a sex tape they had allegedly made together. Years later in 2006, Michaels was even happy to hear that she was engaged to Kid Rock and had nothing but nice things to say about her. "I would love to send her a nice gift," he said (via ABC News). "She is absolutely an awesome person. And I wish them nothing but the best." 

Pro surfer Kelly Slater was Pamela Anderson's on-again-off-again boyfriend in 1995. She even referred to him in her documentary, "Pamela, a Love Story" as her "big love" and "such a sweetheart" (via Page Six). She did admit that she did him dirty though, when she spontaneously married Tommy Lee before she was supposed to fly out to Florida to meet Slater's family. "My first phone call was to him to tell him I was married. He was like, 'What?' That was horrible," she said. These days, while Pamela Anderson's return to her '90s makeup is the iconic transformation we didn't know we needed, she probably doesn't want to return to her '90's dating style because of how she treated Slater.

Fortunately for Anderson, there were no hard feelings because when asked about her in 2011, Slater only had nice things to say. He told Metro, "I learned a lot. I don't have any ill feelings toward her. I wish her well," even adding, "Hey, we had an amazing time together." Even years later in 2023, he extended his support of her documentary by commenting on an Instagram post her son Brandon Lee shared from the premiere. Slater wrote, "Congrats to you guys. Look forward to watching." It seems Slater and Anderson were never meant to be, but they both clearly remember their time together fondly.

Kid Rock was not only another rocker that Pamela Anderson dated, but another ex she eventually reunited with for a second time. The two first started dating in 2001, were engaged in 2002, but then split in 2003. They got back together and were married in 2006, before divorcing a few weeks later. Anderson revealed on "The Howard Stern Show" in 2023 that she knew marrying him was a mistake and she wrote in her memoir about him calling her names and breaking her stuff. Kid Rock publicly bashed Anderson on more than one occasion, like when he called her a "psycho" on "The Howard Stern Show" in 2007 (via Today) and blamed their split on her criticism of his family and her demands for money.

Kid Rock didn't stop there, because after Anderson tied the knot with Rick Salomon in 2007, he said on "Late Show With David Letterman," "I wish somebody would have given me the advice that I'd like to give her husband. 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?'" (via CBS News). Years later in 2023, he apparently still wasn't over it, because he told Louder, "We say hello. But I touched the stove and it was f***ing hot. I don't think I'm going to touch the stove anymore." We have a feeling Anderson probably wouldn't touch him anymore either. 

Perhaps the ex who has the best things to say about Pamela Anderson is movie producer Jon Peters. Anderson met the Hollywood mogul at the Playboy Mansion in the mid '80s and she ended up moving in with him. Peters recalled to The Hollywood Reporter in 2017, "I knew she would be a big star ... Pamela was a girl who with no makeup was gorgeous. She was very smart and very talented." They decided to date in 1988 but split in 1991 after Anderson turned down his marriage proposal, with Peters alluding to their 22-year age difference as the reason. 

The two reunited almost 30 years later, and in 2020 they reportedly got married. However, in 2024, Anderson denied that they had actually wed, since they never filed for a marriage certificate before they split again days later. They appeared to stay on good terms though, because in 2023 Peters raved about Anderson in Variety. "I will always love Pamela, always in my heart," he shared. "As a matter of fact, I left her $10 million in my will." So there you have it — many of Anderson's exes have had a lot to say about her over the years, but at least Peters is putting his money where his mouth is.
