Teri Hatcher Is Fulfilling Her West End Dreams With A Genius Workout Routine
Teri Hatcher has always been committed to her work. No matter what project she has appeared in over the years, from "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" to "Desperate Housewives," she has given every role her all, and she's maintaining that work ethic as she moves to live shows. While preparing to take over the role of Miranda Priestly in the West End musical adaptation of "The Devil Wears Prada," Hatcher updated her exercise regimen to account for the physical demands of a nightly stage performance.
During a September 2026 interview with Hello!, Hatcher explained how she's kept on top of her fitness in preparation for her performances during pre-show prep. "I walk on the treadmill and go through the script and that takes me about up to two hours," she explained to the outlet. "I have been doing strength training for a long time and I do yoga, so I'll be looking for yoga classes in London. I feel like I'm usually in pretty good shape normally, so I am really concentrating on the vocal work."
Teri Hatcher, who's had some gorgeous red-carpet looks in her 50s, has a perfectly balanced routine that combines strength training, which can be especially beneficial for mature women, with toning yoga, illustrating how advantageous a solid regimen that covers all bases can be. Being physically fit is often a requirement of demanding live performances, so we can't help but admire Hatcher for her commitment to her job.
Teri Hatcher's dedication to wellness doesn't stop at her workout routine
As dedicated as Teri Hatcher is to her workout routine, she is equally as steadfast about other aspects of her physical and emotional wellness. During an interview with Flow Space, the actor broke down her wellness routine. In addition to her exercise routine of strength training and cardio, Hatcher keeps her diet as clean as possible; healthy snacks like air fried garbanzo beans and frozen okra are staples in her meal plan. Aside from the food she puts in her body, Hatcher is meticulous about keeping her nervous system balanced. In addition to reaping the mental health benefits of exercise, she wears an Oura ring for sleep tracking, and utilizes cold plunges and saunas to keep herself regulated.
Teri Hatcher's response to aging in Hollywood has served as a wake-up call, as she unabashedly embraces getting older. On "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast" in October 2025, Hatcher got candid about the challenges of physically aging as a woman in the public eye, and how she's embracing that rather than hiding from it. "The world is positioned more kindly towards aging men than it is toward aging women," Hatcher explained. Nevertheless, the "Tango and Cash" actor noted that she shies away from trying to look younger. "I'm excited about people being able to look at me on screen and be like, 'That's a real 60-year-old woman,'" she said. Women in Hollywood are too often criticized for everything — how they dress, what their bodies look like, and how they age — so it is refreshing to see a star like Hatcher reject all of that pressure and feel comfortable in being herself.
