Joanne Froggatt's Love Life Is Thriving After Divorce In Her 40s

"Downton Abbey" star Joanne Froggatt's major style transformation in her 40s proves that she's thriving in this era of her life despite the changes fate has thrown at her. The actor's love life has hit new strides after a tough divorce from her former husband James Cannon in 2020. Following their separation, Froggatt told The Telegraph, "I'm looking to the future. I'm just going to embrace this year and see what happens." 

Embrace, she did. In 2024, the "Downton Abbey" star found love again with her new partner Mark Turner, and a source close to her told The Daily Mail that she was totally smitten. The two even revealed that same year that they were expecting their first child. "She knew from early on that they had something special together," the source revealed. "And now her story has a happy ending and she is expecting her first baby." Fast forward a bit and Froggatt gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl. While she's normally pretty private about her family life, it's nice to see that she's thriving in her late 40s — Build a beautiful family? Check! Have a happy and loving partner after a heartbreak? The actor told The Guardian in 2021 that she purposely kept things low-key after her separation. "Divorce made me glad I'd kept my privacy," she said. "I've never done paid interviews, had photos taken in my home, on holiday or at big life events. I was so grateful I'd maintained that boundary." Respect to her for keeping mum about her personal life while also remaining a fashionista while on red carpets. Some of Froggatt's best looks yet have been worn in this decade of her life. Her fashion choices have become bigger and bolder, with her wearing everything from a structured shoulder to this unique cross-linked design.
