20 Celebrities Who Aren’t Ashamed Of Their Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgery used to be a a hugely taboo topic, especially when it came to celebrities. Admitting you had work done was seen as shameful, and probably still is to some people. But in general, society has become so much more accepting of cosmetic procedures, largely in part because celebrities with plastic surgery are speaking out about it more.
If changing something about your appearance makes you more confident, then why not? Its ultimately a personal decision. And the more open people are about the work they’ve had done, the faster society will shed the stigma. Here are 20 celebrities with plastic surgery who are changing the narrative around having work done.
After flaunting her incredible abs at the 2019 Billboard Music Wards, Cardi B admitted to having liposuction after the birth of her daughter. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cardi said that it's important to her to be honest about plastic surgery.
“I want to explain to people how hard it is to process,” she said. “I feel like people look at girls on Instagram and go, 'Oh, they got their lipo done and it was so easy.' It is just such a long, hard process, almost like the same process as after you give birth to a baby and you see your body change.”
The Modern Family actress said that the breast reduction surgery she had at 17 changed her life for the better. “There was so little that I could wear that was age-appropriate,” she told Glamour magazine. “I'd have to wear the dress that was super tight and form-fitted everywhere because if I didn't, it didn't look good.”
“It's amazing to finally feel right,” she said of life after her surgery. “This is how I was supposed to be.”

And it's worse in pictures than in real life,” Cox told told New Beauty magazine in 2017. “I've had all my fillers dissolved. I'm as natural as I can be. I feel better because I look like myself.
