Oscar Nominees Are Treated To The Most Luxe Gift Bag. Here's What's Inside

Each year, the Oscars recognize some of the most talented people in the movie industry. While there can only be one big winner in each category, the nominees don't go home empty-handed as some are presented with a very lavish and highly sought-after gift bag. We imagine this makes it much easier to deal with not having won the 24-karat gold-plated statuette.

This year, the gift bag is worth an estimated $126,000. Although Forbes notes that it's 10% less than it was worth last year, it's still worth over 300 times more than an actual Oscar, which costs approximately $400 to make.

Not all the nominees actually get the gift bag, however. It's only for those in the main categories: best director, best actor, best actress, best supporting actor, and best supporting actress. The show's host also snags one. Now that we've got the basics covered, let's take a look at some of the most exciting things that can be found in the 2023 Oscars 'Everybody Wins' gift bags!

A hair restoration consultation with Dr. Alan J. Bauman

This year's Oscars gift bag includes a BaumanMD hair loss package consisting of the brand's latest products, and a private one-on-one hair restoration consultation with celebrity hair transplant surgeon Dr. Alan J. Bauman. The estimated value of this gift is around $7,000.

According to the Bauman Medical website, Dr. Bauman founded his practice in 1997, and since then, he has successfully performed over 10,000 hair transplants.

A three-night stay at the Faro Punta Imperatore Lighthouse in Ischia, Italy

Each year, there are a couple of luxurious trips that Hollywood's elite can take for free — and this year, one of them is a three-night stay at the Faro Punta Imperatore Lighthouse in Ischia, Italy. The stay is worth $9,000, and the nominee can bring up to seven friends with them.

A three-night stay at The Lifestyle in Ottawa, Canada

Another fun trip the nominees can take this year is to Ottawa, Canada. There, they can spend three nights at the luxurious property, The Lifestyle. The stay is estimated to be worth $40,000, which is undoubtedly a generous gift, even for the rich and famous.

An arm liposuction procedure by Dr. Thomas Su

It's no secret that the rich and famous receive cosmetic procedures on the regular. So it makes sense that the award show's gift bag contains vouchers for a few. One of them this year is for an arm liposuction procedure from Dr. Thomas Su, worth $12,000.

Dr. Su, the owner of Art Lipo, has led the clinic since 2007. He specializes in arm liposuction, which provides a slim look to the shoulders and upper arms.

Beauty procedures by Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich

Nominees are also gifted up to $10,000 worth of beauty treatments performed by New York-based plastic surgeon Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich. These include chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, and Botox.

Dr. Konstantin is considered one of the best facelift surgeons in Manhattan, and according to Facial Artistry MD, he performs 1,000 facial cosmetic procedures each year.

Home restoration project management from Maison Construction

Apart from trips and beauty procedures, the 'Everybody Wins' gift bag also contains a gift card worth a whopping $25,000 for project management services for home restoration projects. This makes it the second most valuable item in the bag. The services are provided by LA-based Maison Construction, a luxury home renovation company.

C60 Sexy edible massage oil

The gift bag also includes a selection of smaller gifts that the nominees can take home right away. This year, that includes the C60 Sexy edible massage oil by C60 Purple Power. After all, getting an Oscar is great, but nothing compares to a little quality time with your partner!

Per Shop C60, the 3-ounce bottle contains 100% certified organic avocado oil and 99.99% pure, sublimated Carbon 60 — and it is worth approximately $90.

Shinery Radiance Wash hand soap

Soap might seem like an odd thing to put into a gift bag for celebrities, but the truth is that luxurious soap is a great gift for anyone. This year's Oscars gift bag contains the famous Radiance Wash by Shinery, which made it onto the 2022 Oprah's Favorite Things holiday list.

The soap is unique in that it not only cleans your hands but also cleans any jewelry you're wearing on them also! One 3.3-ounce bottle costs $28.

Gourmet dates from Bateel

Edible items are also included in the gift bags, and it's safe to say that they are usually a bit fancier than what you'd buy at your local Trader Joe's.

This year, the Oscars gift bag contains $435 worth of Bateel gourmet dates, packed in hand-painted wooden gift boxes for that extra touch of luxury. There are a variety of flavors to suit everyone's taste buds, including caramelized pecan-filled and candied lemon peel.

The Footcloud invisible adhesive shoe cushions

Since actors are always expected to look their best — especially on red carpets — there is no doubt that they often end up wearing shoes that are super uncomfortable. This year, the Oscars thought of that too, as they added The Footcloud invisible adhesive shoe cushions to their gift bags. A 4-pack of them costs $19.99, and they are available in light and dark shades. The brand claims they can be reused up to three times and because they adhere to the foot and not the shoe, they stay in place all night long.

The Photo Shoot Kit by The Rescue Kit Company

Actors do plenty of photo shoots, and whether it's a sudden rip or an unexpected stain, there is always the chance something can go wrong. Luckily, the Oscars included The Photo Shoot Kit by The Rescue Kit Company in this year's gift box. The $90 kit contains a variety of small items that can come in handy at a photo shoot, including a standard sewing kit, a sponge that removes deodorant stains, a wrinkle release spray, a lint roller, and more.

A plot of land in Australia

This one might seem a bit surprising, but it's actually the most wholesome gift of the bunch: a tiny piece of Australian land that contributes to the preservation of bushland and forest areas. The 1-square-meter plot is worth approximately $53 USD, and in addition to the money going towards conservation efforts, Pieces of Australia also plants two trees for every Aussie Mate Conservation Pack purchased.

Ginza Nishikawa Japanese milk bread

This year's gift bag also contains the uber-popular Japanese milk bread from Ginza Nishikawa in Los Angeles. Per The Guardian, the milk bread sells out in seconds every day, and considering that one loaf costs $18, we can only imagine how delicious it tastes. "Having eaten Wonder Bread as a child, I just knew the level of the white bread is not very high in the U.S.," Noriko Okubo, the co-owner of Ginza Nishikawa, told The Guardian.

Clif Thins

The least expensive item in this year's Oscars gift bag is Clif Thins — a pack of two thin, crispy bars that are only 100 calories. Advertised as a healthier way to snack, these bars are easy to munch on for a quick energy boost. One pack of two chocolate chip Clif Thins by Clif sells for approximately $9.
