How Sarah Jessica Parker's Face Has Transformed Over The Years, According To Our Plastic Surgeon

It seems as though Carrie Bradshaw has been a pioneer of fashion and beauty trends and a main character in our lives for decades, but Sarah Jessica Parker's legacy will last much longer. Not only is she one of the celebrities who is just as gorgeous with her natural hair, but Parker has always been an icon of aging naturally. It can be difficult to come across a celebrity who hasn't been influenced by the superfluous plastic surgery fad of the 21st century, so we decided to ask board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Raja Mohan how everyone's favorite New Yorker's face has changed over the years.

His main takeaway? "Comparing these images, her features have remained largely consistent, suggesting that if she has undergone any procedures, they were subtle and designed to preserve her natural appearance." Dr. Mohan tells Glam exclusively, "The overall shape of her nose appears slightly more refined in recent years, which could indicate a conservative rhinoplasty performed early in her career. Her forehead and brow area appear smooth, which might be the result of occasional Botox treatments to soften dynamic lines without eliminating her natural expressions. Her midface shows good volume for her age, which could come from the strategic use of fillers to maintain youthful contours around the cheeks and under-eyes, areas that typically hollow with age."

Dr. Mohan went on to express that while there aren't many signifiers of a facelift, he noticed that her smile lines are minimal and the area around her mouth looks smoother than it did previously, suggesting laser treatments or filler. "Overall," Dr. Mohan goes on, "any work she may have done has been minimal and very natural, with the goal of looking refreshed rather than altered."

Sarah Jessica Parker has always been open to getting work done

Of the most iconic "Sex and the City" looks, Sarah Jessica Parker's beauty may count as its own. Though Dr. Raja Mohan suggested a few procedures Parker may have had during our exclusive chat, the "And Just Like That..." star has never admitted to getting work done. It's not that she isn't open to the idea, though. During an interview on "The Howard Stern Show" in June 2023, Parker was asked about going under the knife, to which she responded, "You know, I missed out on the facelift, like an old-fashioned good one that you have when you're like 44." That's not to say she isn't still open to going under the knife one day. "I think about all of it! I ask people all the time, like, 'Is it too late?'"

Dr. Mohan also weighed in with his professional opinion on what Parker may want to have done in the realm of cosmetic surgery. He suggests minimal fillers and less invasive dermatological treatments. "As she gets older, volume loss in the midface can create a slightly hollowed appearance," he shares. "A conservative use of dermal fillers or fat grafting to the cheeks and temples could restore balance and soften the look without creating an overfilled or artificial result. Her jawline remains elegant, but mild skin laxity around the lower face and neck might become more noticeable over time." To fulfill her desire for a facelift, but with less emphasis on the "reconstruction" aspect, Dr. Mohan recommends "a lower facelift or neck lift, done very conservatively," which "could maintain definition without changing her recognizable features." But the plastic surgeon emphasizes that cosmetic work isn't necessary: "Her natural look is iconic and authentic, and preserving that is just as valid as enhancing it"
