Michael J. Fox's Daughters Have Grown Up To Be Gorgeous
The world fell in love with actor Michael J. Fox thanks to his memorable characters on "Family Ties" and in the classic film "Back to the Future." After being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the 1990s, Fox pivoted his focus to activism and awareness of the disease. But the job he seems most proud of is his role as a father. He shares four children with his wife actor Tracy Pollan: a boy and three girls.
After their son Sam Michael Fox was born in 1989, the couple welcomed twins Aquinnah Kathleen Fox and Schuyler Frances Fox in 1995. The youngest Fox, Esmé Annabelle, was born in 2001. The family lives their life mostly out of the spotlight, unlike actors that have followed in their parents' footsteps (just look at Maya Hawke's jump to stardom or Hannah Einbinder's complete transformation).
The Fox kids do occasionally attend events to support their mom and dad and appeared in the 2023 documentary about their father "Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie." And the public has gotten a few updates on the kids' lives from their gushing parents. Fox likes to pay tribute to his girls on social media, often sharing how proud he is of them and posting pictures of their cherished times together. His daughters are now young adults with their own careers, and one thing that each of the girls has in common is that they are all stunningly beautiful. Schuyler and Aquinnah are blond like their mother, while Esmé Fox shares her dad's brunette locks.
Aquinnah Fox works in the entertainment industry
Aquinnah Kathleen Fox was born on February 15, 1995, alongside her twin sister Schuyler Fox. It is likely that Aquinnah is named after a town in Martha's Vineyard, the luxurious island in Massachusetts. Her mother Tracy Pollan all but confirmed this back in 2021 when she posted a photo on Instagram with her husband Michael J. Fox commemorating their anniversary in the very spot that bares their daughter's name.
Aquinnah graduated from Duke University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, visual and media studies, and art history. While attending school, she continued her father's philanthropic message. Aquinnah co-founded and was president of an organization called Pancakes for Parkinson's which fundraises and promotes awareness of Parkinson's disease to this day. While not working on camera like her parents, Aquinnah does have a career in Hollywood behind the scenes. Currently residing in Los Angeles, she works in television development for a company called Annapurna Pictures.
Now an adult, Aquinnah looks like a mix of her mom and dad, with her mom's blond hair and blue eyes in a similar shade to her dad's. Like her sisters, she seems to favor a cropped bob cut, which adds to her sophisticated vibe.
Twin Schuyler Fox is a newlywed
Schuyler Frances Fox, affectionately called "Sky," was also born in February 1995. Schuyler earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pomona College in 2017. A few years later, she went on to earn her master's in education from Harvard University. Her experience has varied from academics to medicine to production development. She is currently working as a producer in the creation of children's media.
Schuyler got married in June 2024 although the identity of her spouse has not been confirmed. The wedding took place in New York's Catskill Mountains and was attended by celebrities including actor Jennifer Grey and newscaster George Stephanopoulos. It was a special family affair as the wedding took place on mother-of-the-bride Tracy Pollan's 64th birthday. They have more in common than just their matching honey-blond hair (which they both maintain superbly) now that they share a major milestone on the same day! Like her twin, Schuyler often opts for a wavy bob, while her fashion sense seems to be comfy-chic and laid-back.
Youngest daughter Esmé Fox recently graduated from college
Esmé Annabelle Fox was born on November 3, 2001. Like her older sister Aquinnah Fox, Esmé attended and graduated from Duke University. She earned a bachelor's degree in cultural studies and literature. She also minored in journalism and visual media which has inspired her path of career. Now in her mid-20s, Esmé is currently working as a page in the coveted program at NBC. She's nailing New York City style by working in the Big Apple close to where she was raised.
Prior to Esmé's job as an NBC Page, much of her experience was as a reporter. She interned and wrote for publications including The 9th Street Journal, Bloomberg News, and The Tampa Bay Times. On her 24th birthday, her dad Michael J. Fox posted a heartfelt shoutout to his little girl on Instagram. The post included a throwback photo of young Esmé perched on her father's shoulders as a kid while the two cheered on runners in a marathon. He also included a recent picture of Esmé participating in a marathon herself, smiling big as her dad hugged her from the sidelines.
Esmé looks the most like her dad out of all of Michael J. Fox's daughters, having inherited his brown hair, pale-blue eyes, and facial structure. The few photos we have of her prove that she knows how to accessorize and color match, pairing lavender nails with lilac earrings in one 2022 snap posted to Instagram by her father.
