HGTV Star Alison Victoria Has Undergone A Gorgeous Transformation

If you're an HGTV fan, chances are, you've heard of Alison Victoria. The interior designer rose to fame in 2011 as the host of "Kitchen Crashers" and continued to dazzle viewers with "Windy City Rehab" and "Ugliest House in America." Just like her gorgeous looks, Victoria's decorating skills have progressed throughout her career, with her telling Resident, "Over the years, my style has evolved, but I have always remained true to my roots, infusing vintage charm with modern elegance and just the right amount of glamour. I love creating spaces that feel timeless yet approachable, and I believe this mix has become my signature."

While she's working, you can expect to see Victoria in jeans and a T-shirt, sometimes with a flannel shirt wrapped around her waist. However, she's also known to get glammed up for outings and red carpets, with her signature long hair in perfect waves. Although she's always been stunning, Victoria has had quite the glow-up over the years, changing her style with the trends and even getting a bit risqué with her 'fits. From burgeoning television star to HGTV producer, the decorating whiz has truly had a jaw-dropping transformation.

Alison Victoria didn't just plan layouts in "Kitchen Crashers"; she also got down and dirty with the construction. During this time, fans saw her wearing jeans, boots, and a practical tank or tee. Her red-carpet looks were laid-back as well, with Victoria showing up to a benefit in jeans and heels, a simple and chic look that never goes out of style. Back then, she was maintaining her honey-blond hair, which appeared to be a uniform shade throughout, save for her dark peekaboo roots.

By 2015, Victoria had switched things up by going for an ombré dye job, keeping the crown of her hair brunette while gradually lightening to a warm brond shade. The darker color suited her skin tone, and she kept up her girl-next-door aesthetic. Although she was a television star, Victoria loved mixing discounted items with her high-end pieces. "I'm extremely eclectic when it comes to fashion. Some of my favorite pieces have come from Marshalls and T.J. Maxx, but when it comes to shoes, I'm afraid to say I'm partial to nude Louboutins," she shared with Refinery29 in 2014. While Alison Victoria continued to wear practical outfits when filming "Kitchen Crashers," she stepped things up with her red-carpet looks, such as the lacy emerald cocktail dress worn at the Women's Image Awards in 2016. The bright color looked simply gorgeous against her tan skin, and the sleeveless style showed off Victoria's toned arms. Her hair was still buttery blond, with subtle highlights brushed in toward the ends, giving the strands a multi-dimensional finish.

The last episode of "Kitchen Crashers" aired in October 2016, ending Victoria's long run on HGTV. However, she reconnected with the network in 2019 with her new show, "Windy City Rehab," which, unfortunately, was met with a host of issues behind the scenes, including lawsuits and a fallout with Victoria's business partner, Donovan Eckhardt. Still, the designer forged on and even worked on commercial spaces, such as the shared room she designed for Super 8 by Wyndham hotels. While sharing her plan on Instagram, Victoria looked professional yet flirty in a floral dress with pointed collars. Her hair took on more of an orange hue, with some lighter, chunkier highlights woven in. A fan who loved Victoria's tresses asked, "WHO DOES YOUR HAIR??? I went to college in Chitown and go back enough. Who!! Spill." Good question!

Alison Victoria has seemingly never been afraid to flaunt her toned bod with tight-fitting dresses, but she completely wowed fans when she posted a bikini picture on Instagram in October 2020, celebrating a milestone birthday. (Her birthday is Halloween!) "This is 40. Surrounded by love and laughter and looking forward and not backward. Here's to 40 more with my fabulous friends that have made this one extra special," she wrote. It's clear that Victoria worked hard to be so fit, as she told HGTV in 2021, "I work out seven days a week; like a crazy person because it's a stress reliever and I just like keeping it real tight and right."

Victoria continued to stun with her risqué looks, with her 2024 Critics Choice Awards dress being one of her most dazzling outfits yet. She proved that party-ready metallics are a key trend as spring approaches with her sheer silver dress featuring circular embellishments. That was a big year for Victoria, as "Windy City Rehab" was nominated for best lifestyle show, and although it didn't win, the host certainly did so that night with her amazing look.

In 2025, Alison Victoria took her hair darker, weaving in honey-blond highlights at the ends for some contrast. Her style became trendier with sheer crop tops and the baggy jeans that were everywhere that year (and still are to this day). Not only does she keep her figure toned with her daily workouts, but she also eats super clean. "On set, I have roasted red pepper egg white bites. I don't eat anything else for breakfast or lunch. Pretty much every night, I eat steak: a wagyu rib eye with salt, pepper, a little bit of butter, and rosemary. I make a little salad with romaine lettuce and garbanzo beans," she told Chicago Magazine that April. Victoria shared that she had also stopped drinking alcohol the year prior, adding, "My skin's never looked better, and my overall happiness is better, too."

In October that year, Victoria revealed on the "Pap Smear Podcast" that the reason she had quit drinking was that she had disappointed her boyfriend, Brandt Andersen, during his directorial debut by getting drunk at a liquor store and missing his screening. The next day, Andersen told her he needed to rethink their relationship, which flipped a switch for the HGTV star. "I'm just going to do something about it. I don't want to lose the best thing that's ever happened to me over alcohol," she recalled. Victoria wrapped up 2025 with her new show, "Sin City Rehab," and while Season 2 has yet to be announced, we're sure that we'll see the gorgeous television star making more big moves in the design world.
