Nicola Peltz Will Never Live Down Her Biggest Makeup Mistakes

Nicola Peltz is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous celebs out there, and her makeup is almost always impeccable. The "Lola" star loves a clean beauty look, favoring a slightly winged liner, matte lips, and lots of cheek color. When asked by Who What Wear about her go-to makeup routine, Peltz shared, "I love a cat eye. I love blush. If you're like, 'You can only have one makeup product on an island,' I'm taking blush." And, she revealed an easy hack makeup artists use for a perfect winged liner. "I use the MAC black shadow. I take a brush, an angular brush, and I tap it and then stamp it," Peltz stated.

As a makeup artist with over a decade of experience myself, I definitely agree that powders are way easier than liquid liners, and Peltz seems to have her technique down. However, there were some instances where you could clearly see the mistakes she made when applying her makeup. The actor loves experimenting with different looks, such as embracing the skinny brow trend, and while she usually gets it right, other times were simply a miss.

Nicola Peltz's blush was way too low

Nicola Peltz created the perfect daytime smoky eye for the premiere of "Bates Motel" in March 2013, but her blush placement was all wrong. The color was brushed on slightly lower than the apples of Peltz's cheeks, dragging down her features. It also appeared to have been concentrated only on the center of her face, with the rosy shade lower to the jawline. With Peltz's full cheeks, a more contoured look would have brought out her bone structure beautifully.

Nicola Peltz's traveling lip gloss

Nicola Peltz shared a New Year's Eve selfie in January 2026 with Brooklyn Beckham, and all I could see was the pink gloss on her top lip heading way too close to her nose. I know that Peltz loves a full lip and often overdraws them. However, this time, it looked like the color had smeared sometime during the celebrations. Perhaps Peltz and Beckham shared a smooch at midnight, and she hastily reapplied the lip gloss, but she dropped the ball on her NYE makeup.

Nicola Peltz's '90s brows were wonky

Nicola Peltz hopped on the skinny brow trend in 2022 at the Academy Museum Gala. She did this without sacrificing her gorgeous, thick brows by bleaching them first. She then drew on two very thin lines with a taupe pencil, recreating the super-plucked look that dominated the 1990s. As she posed for the cameras with her hubby, Brooklyn Beckham, it was clear that one of her brows was a bit uneven in the front, with the tail drawn way too close to her temple. Instead, the ends should have landed right around her outer eyes for more proportion.

Nicola Peltz looked like she had a vat of blush on her cheeks

Nicola Peltz claimed to love blush, and that wasn't a lie. In September 2024, she showed up to the Balmain show during Paris Fashion Week with an overload of bright red color on her cheeks that overtook her whole face. I get that she loves to look flushed, and blush can truly transform a person's look, but the key to a good application is blending. Unfortunately, Peltz's looked streaky and uneven, and a color this strong is going to be pretty unforgiving, as was the case here.

Nicola Peltz was in desperate need of lip balm

Nicola Peltz looked simply stunning at the 2022 Met Gala in her bright pink gown and buttery blond hair. She went for a slightly smoky eye with a cut crease and winged eyeliner, giving her an updated '60s makeup look. I loved the soft pink blush and matching lipstick, but what made me cringe was how dry her pout looked. A swipe of gloss or lip balm would have given Peltz a bit of moisturization, especially under the harsh camera lights. The rest of her makeup was perfection.

Nicola Peltz's smoky eyes needed a do-over

Nicola Peltz shared her grunge side when she posted a selfie with Brooklyn Beckham rocking smokey eyes, unstyled hair, and a loose hoodie. The uneven eyeshadow application was what immediately caught my attention, as it appeared to be concentrated on the ends only with a clear demarcation in the middle. It was especially noticeable because Peltz had used a dark charcoal shade without using a lighter color on her lids to balance it out. A little bit of highlighter on the inner corner of Peltz's eyes would have done wonders.
