Lauren Sánchez Bezos' Rumored Plastic Surgery Is Beyond Obvious In Side-By-Side Pics

Over more than two decades in the spotlight, Lauren Sánchez Bezos' face has undeniably changed. The wife of billionaire Jeff Bezos was mostly known as a journalist prior to her relationship with the Amazon mogul, but today, Lauren is kind of known for her appearance. Since the 2000s, some of Lauren's features have noticeably changed, and while she never confirmed or denied any cosmetic procedures, plastic surgeon Dr. Matthew Nykiel explained to us just how Lauren Sánchez's face has transformed over the years.

"Her nose appears slimmer and more refined, particularly along the bridge and tip," Dr. Nykiel told us exclusively in 2025. "Her eyes seem more open and slightly lifted, especially in the outer corners. That's something we typically achieve with upper and lower lid surgery," the surgeon added, explaining that Lauren also seems to have done a "more advanced face lift technique like deep plane or extended SMAS," which has more natural-looking results. The expert added that volume loss is a natural occurrence with aging, but since Lauren hasn't lost much, she is most likely also using dermal fillers. 

A side-by-side image of Lauren from the early aughts and in 2025 also shows that her lips have gained volume and that she has lost her gummy smile. Of course, some of these visual changes can also happen thanks to changes in makeup, like using the 'model cheekbones' contour hack to create a snatched look. In Lauren's case specifically, it's most likely a combination of both makeup and cosmetic procedures that have changed how her face looks.

Lauren Sánchez Bezos married Jeff Bezos in June 2025, and fans noticed that her face began to change even more around the time of her wedding. Of course, as the wife of one of the richest men on earth, we have no doubt that Lauren could afford all the beauty treatments she wanted before her big day. "Lauren is terrifying looking, and that's coming from someone who likes fillers and Botox," a user wrote on Reddit, commenting on the former journalist's more recent appearance, with another writing that she looked much better "before she took her cosmetic procedures into uncanny valley."

With the speculation about her appearance online, other professionals have also chimed in, confirming what Dr. Matthew Nykiel told us. "She's not showing a lot of signs of aging, and she's 55 years old. So I don't think it's just olive oil and facial creams," Dr. Gary Motykie, a board-certified plastic surgeon, shared on Instagram in 2025. "Her upper lip appears notably fuller, especially in the Cupid's bow area," Dr. Raja Mohan shared with The List in 2025. "Her cheeks appear more lifted and rounder, which can be due to fillers." What's clear is that experts agree on one point — Lauren Sánchez Bezos' face changes are undeniable, and side-by-side pics show that her features have changed in ways that don't align with natural aging.
