Erika Kirk Went Full Trump With Jarring Bronzer In 2026 Sarah Huckabee Sanders Meeting

The more we think about it, the similarities between Erika Kirk and Donald Trump run deeper than we originally realized. Both are showpeople who have folks consistently furrowing their brows at the things that come out of their mouths. These two are like peas in a pod, or maybe more like two seeds in a mandarin. We were reminded in March 2026 just how Trumpian Kirk can be when she wore a jarring amount of bronzer at an event hosted by Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Sanders posted a photo of herself and her daughter Scarlett with Kirk, and Kirk's bronzer fail was on full display. Instead of following an easy hack for applying bronzer that creates a perfectly natural glow, the former pageant contestant loaded it on, especially onto her forehead and cheeks. She looks to have used a draping technique to apply it from the apples of the cheeks, around the temples, and up to the eyebrows. Some may say it's a bit much for a get-together with children. We say it's a bit much full stop.

Erika Kirk also went heavy on the bronzer for Charlie Kirk's memorial

A grieving widow should definitely be given leeway when getting prepped for her partner's memorial service, but there are also some key points for how to be respectful when dressing for a funeral. For starters, the widow might not want to look like she was in the makeup chair for hours with a resulting caked-on pile of bronzer. And Erika Kirk has likely discovered the reason why.

Since her husband Charlie Kirk's death in September 2025, she has been dogged by people throwing mud at her for a number of reasons, including accusations that she's pounced into the limelight much too eagerly, barely stepping out of her widow whites (the color of suit she wore to his memorial service).

Showing up looking like her pageant-queen self only exacerbated these arguments. We've seen that Erika Kirk looks totally different with a toned-down beauty look, so why would she wear a Trump-level bronzer for a somber event? As people have said about many things in Kirk's past portfolio, it doesn't add up.
