Celebs Who Look So Different Without Their Eyebrows Filled In

Eyebrows have the potential to completely change your face. From defined brows that give you a more seductive appearance, to fluffy or feathered brows that lean more on the natural side, there are many ways to express yourself through your brows. But, whether you pluck, microneedle, or fill in your eyebrows, many of us look quite different without our signature brow looks. With eyebrow trends changing every year, regular people and public figures alike frequently switch up their look to keep up — meaning that there are also a lot of celebs who also look totally different with eyebrow makeup.

As certain makeup looks fall in and out of favor in the trend cycle, many celebrities can be seen making changes to their beauty routines. Some of the women in Hollywood, like Carrie Underwood, can even fall victim to eyebrow blindness. But, one possible solution to eyebrow blindness is to embrace your natural eyebrow shape and ease up on the brow pencil. Stars like Kylie Jenner and Taylor Frankie Paul look totally different — for the better — when theirs aren't filled in. 

While Kelly Osbourne is almost unrecognizable without makeup, the former "Fashion Police" host embraces her fresh-faced look nearly as much as she does her full glam. In an April 2026 Instagram Story, Osbourne showed off her bare skin fresh from a facial. While the media personality's skin looks fabulous, we're stuck on how Osbourne's natural eyebrows give her a more youthful appearance. Without makeup, her eyebrows are light brown, which suits her fair complexion better than her comparatively harsher brown brow pencil.

It seems that Taylor Frankie Paul can't stop making this "MAGA makeup" mistake: overfilling her eyebrows. The controversial "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star already has beautifully thick brows, and she looks totally different when she fills them in. Starting products in the middle of your brow is key to a realistic look, but Paul and her makeup artists haven't quite seemed to grasp that yet. Paul's filled-in brows usually sit a bit too close together in the middle, which is a jarring move that makes her whole face look a bit off. 

We've all seen Lady Gaga's eyebrow transformation over the years. The "Garden of Eden" singer has gone from platinum brows, to natural brown, to dark statement brows. Now, she's hopped back on the bleached eyebrow trend, which indecisive beauty-fanatics can still rock without the bleach. Lady Gaga wears her bleached brows brushed up at the front, giving a bit of contrast that keeps them from disappearing into her skin. While we love the soft brown of her au-natural eyebrows sans bleach or brow pencil, there's something about the edgy bleached brows that just works with her alternative vibe.

Given her status as a style icon, beauty businesswoman, and mega-famous socialite, it is no surprise that Kylie Jenner looks stunning without makeup. In a makeup tutorial for Vogue in April 2023, Jenner showed off her flawless complexion and full eyebrows. Without any makeup, the "Kylie Cosmetics" owner still has fantastic eyebrows — and we may like them natural even better than when they're filled-in. Jenner's 2026 full glam sees her filling in her eyebrows extra dark, which gives her face a far more more dramatic vibe.

Nikki Glaser is a doe-eyed beauty without makeup, and her natural eyebrows complement her features quite well. When she isn't hosting an event or making a public appearance, Glaser keeps her brows in a rounded arch with long tails. In a January 2026 "Beauty Secrets" video with Vogue, Glaser revealed that she uses the Kosas Cosmetics Brow Pop Pencil and the Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow + Volumizing Eyebrow Gel to achieve her camera-ready brow look. In the video, the comedian used small, thin lines concentrated at the front of her brows to make them appear more defined — not that she needs it!

Cardi B is not opposed to a makeup-free moment. The rap icon and mom-of-four always turns heads with her flawless makeup, sexy 'fits, and expressive hair styles, but has shared pictures of herself fresh-faced on her Instagram account many times. We can see that Cardi's natural brows are very thick with short tails — leaving her a great canvas with which to experiment. When in full glam, the "Pretty & Petty" rapper has opted for straight brows with a dramatic, high slant, and tapered-off tails, created a dramatically different look.

Recently, we've seen Pamela Anderson going makeup-free and looking flawless in her natural skin. While the "Baywatch" star has always embraced pencil-thin brows, she's dropped the brown eyebrow pencil and allowed her naturally thin eyebrows to stand alone. The dark line of her '90s and 2000s brows was a bit too harsh, so we love the look of her blond eyebrows. It seems that Anderson has embraced some tips for bringing '90s brows to modern day by softening their shape from severe crescent moons to a slight arch that's just right.
