9 Underrated Zendaya Outfits You May Have Missed

A celeb better be punchy if they're going to attempt to pull off the one-name thing, and Zendaya has certainly earned the right with her culture-piercing performances and ooh-worthy style. She's graced red carpets since her preteen years, so it'd be easy work to put together a photo timeline of Zendaya's iconic style evolution, from cute and sassy to grown and sexy. Rumors started to swirl in early 2026 that Zendaya and fiancé (husband?) Tom Holland quietly got married. As of this writing, neither have outright confirmed it, but Zendaya went on a bridal fashion tour in spring 2026 that left mouths everywhere agape. She wore a series of white looks, plus something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue — a Schiaparelli peacock-feathered couture gown fresh off the runway.

Zendaya was one of the pioneers of the themed looks that have become popular in recent years. Who could forget the beaded web dress for the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" press tour, or the series of futuristic looks she rocked for "Dune: Part Two"? And Zendaya's "Challengers" press tour outfits were serving tenniscore realness. Buoyed by "image architect" Law Roach, Zendaya has become one to watch, regularly delivering fashion moments that have garnered headlines and flooded timelines, but the multi-hyphenate has also rocked plenty of looks that flew under the radar while being no less impactful.

Zendaya upturned menswear during the Dune: Part Two press run

On theme and effortlessly cool, per usual, Zendaya rocked this sand- and ash-colored Louis Vuitton waistcoat and baggy slacks to promote "Dune: Part Two" during CinemaCon in April 2023. The challenge: apocalyptic but make it fashion. It was a fun take on suiting and menswear, but not without delicate feminine touches. Note the open back and the white pointy-toe pumps peeking out from underneath that sublime cuff. Christian Louboutin So Kates? We think so. She regularly struts it out in the famed five-inch stilettos.

Zendaya stuns in a two-piece pear-green 'fit

For an example of one of the best ways to turn pajamas into streetwear, look no further than to the two-piece jewel-toned outfit that Zendaya wore in Paris to promote "Challengers" in April 2024. The look is vintage Louis Vuitton from 1999 (the Marc Jacobs years), and the color feels ultra luxe and like a perfect complement to the blond blowout that she was rocking around this time. And we especially love the little sliver of torso, matching bag, and silver platform sandals.

Zendaya played with color and turned up the volume

Zendaya has always been plenty cute on the red carpet, even when those carpets belonged to Nickelodeon and Disney back in her "Shake It Up" and "K.C. Undercover" days. But this multi-colored Schiaparelli gown that she donned in 2017 for the InStyle Awards was a lovely bit of foreshadowing, gifting us a sneak peek at a fashion girlie in the making. The delicate tiers of gradient lace offered a nice blend of playful youth and sophistication, and we're obsessed with the tight 'fro.

Zendaya was pretty in pink during Paris Fashion Week

Befitting a stylish star, Zendaya is a regular at the major fashion shows at home and abroad. Here, she popped out for the Valentino womenswear fall/winter show in March 2022 during Paris Fashion Week in a monochromatic, pucker-up pink suit. The embellished flower details along the sleeves and legs add just the right amount of whimsy and interest, and the low-cut neckline and strong eye makeup take this look from sugary sweet to badass Barbie serving '70s glamour in platforms.

Out in New York City, Zendaya rocked an off-the-shoulder minidress

Photogs caught Zendaya out and about in New York City in September 2024 beautifully draped in a silky off-the-shoulder dress in dark emerald designed by Louis Vuitton. It's a silhouette that she doesn't rock all that often, which is really too bad because what's not to love about a bubble hem, especially when it's this well done? The black pumps are classic and nondescript, making it all about the dress, the legs, and the bare shoulders. What a chic way to soak in the last bits of summer.

Zendaya made a case for the dress-over-pants aesthetic

In June 2019, while promoting "Spider-Man: Far From Home," Zendaya showed up to the set of "Good Morning America" bright and early, and wearing a two-piece 'fit from designer Peter Do.  The delicate sheer fabric of the midi dress and skinny pants was edged up with the blueprint of a car. The whole thing is the epitome of an unexpected, under-the-radar Zendaya look, and we especially love that the hem of the pants is super nipped-in for that added bit of polish and refinement.

Zendaya was queen (of the jungle) for the day

Zendaya has been a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton for years, first officially announced around April 2023. She made an appearance at the house's fall/winter show during Paris Fashion Week in March 2023 looking feline fierce in tiger stripes. She was serving '60s mod in the absolute best way, rocking little short shorts, a matching blazer, and knee-high go-go boots. The 'fit was definitely one of Zendaya's biggest fashion risks that we'll never forget. And, a bit skimpier than she usually goes, it was a super-fun departure.

Zendaya rocked a starry bralet and matching skirt

For the 54th annual NAACP Image Awards in February 2023, Zendaya donned a different look on the red carpet: a black and lime-green strapless mermaid gown from Versace that most will probably remember. But maybe you missed this star-accented bralet and maxi skirt combo that she changed into for the actual ceremony and to present an award. It's reimagined Prada, circa 1993, and with its satiny white fabric and kooky cutout details, it's equal parts funky, sexy, and cool.

Zendaya channeled the opulent '80s in the chicest way

Zendaya rocked a look that put a high-fashion spin on the '80s power suit for the Louis Vuitton womenswear spring/summer show during Paris Fashion Week. For the October 2024 showcase at the Louvre, the "Euphoria" star wore a large-lapel suit jacket and cherry-red pocket square (that matched her lip color), paired with a crumpled miniskirt. The slicked-back bun, sheer pantyhose, black pumps, smart bag, and tennis bracelet were the perfect little touches that brought this baddest-in-the-office look to life.
