Despite the often revolving door of Hollywood relationships, these two have managed to stay solid for 43 years — an impressive feat even by the standards of non-celebrity couples. There are so many adorable pics of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell together, and it's evident in their body language that the two are more solid than ever. 

In an April 2026 interview with People, Hawn opened up about her relationship with Russell, sharing the secret sauce that's made their bond last so long. The key, Hawn said, is that she and Russell are just "the right match." In addition to being a perfect pairing, the couple has found a way to keep their closeness while maintaining their independence. "I don't feel penned in," Hawn noted. "We don't always agree on stuff, which is fine. We're both very spontaneous." It seems that Russell fits perfectly into Hawn's incredibly lavish lifestyle.

Despite popular belief, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell aren't legally married! It's easy to assume that the two tied the knot ages ago, based on how effortless they make their relationship look. Over the years, the couple has been questioned about their decision to never get married, but Hawn is adamant about her independence. The "Private Benjamin" star was married (and divorced) twice before her relationship with Russell, so it was easy for Hawn to say in her memoir (via, Hello!), "Been there, done that." But just because she and Russell never got hitched doesn't make their bond any less serious or special. "If [not marrying] sounds like an excuse not to work at the relationship, it isn't. If anything, it makes us work harder," Hawn wrote.  

Even other members of the couple's blended family hold them in high regard. Kate Hudson (who is definitely a celebrity kid who inherited their parents' famous lifestyle) said as much in a 2024 interview on "The Howard Stern Show." According to Hudson, her mother and Russell "are like the center of our family." Their bond has only grown deeper over time, and the "Almost Famous" star added, "Now, as they're getting a little bit older, their relationship is so cute ... I can't stand it. Kurt just adores my mom." 

Another bright spot in Hawn and Russell's relationship is their ability to still enjoy the little things together, even after all these years. Hawn dished on her and Russell's morning routine on The View in May 2026. "He wakes up in the morning, he's always happy," she gushed. "[And] he always gets my coffee in the morning, and he's really happy to do it." The two are such a perfect example of doing what works for them instead of following the status quo — and it's why their relationship withstood the test of time.
