Sharon Stone Has Mastered The Art Of A Subtle Gray Hair Transition

Sharon Stone is one of those celebrities in their 60s who looks completely stunning without makeup. She's a natural beauty through and through. What we've noticed the most lately, though, is Sharon Stone's stunning hair transformation over the years. Her strands have been through many different eras, from curls and bangs to a pixie cut, but now, in her 60s, she's truly mastering the art of a subtle gray hair transition. While normally, the actor has been blond throughout her career, we've seen that she's slowly allowing the gray to grow out, especially around the forehead area. Much like Helen Mirren's gray hair transformation, which proved she's gorgeous at any age, it really suits her.

The photo on the left was taken in February 2026, and the photo on the right was taken in May 2026. There isn't a huge time gap between these two snaps, so it's safe to say that Stone is letting her strands transition naturally. Her grays blend so seamlessly with her natural hair that the difference is hardly noticeable. Stone has joined the ranks of Hollywood women celebrating their age, so it's no mystery why she often lets her grays peek through. She famously told Shape Magazine in a 2014 print issue as much. "I'm not interested in being young forever," she said (via HuffPost). "This idea that being youthful is the only thing that's beautiful or attractive simply isn't true. I don't want to be an 'ageless beauty.' I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age."

This isn't the first time Sharon Stone has embraced her gray hair

Sharon Stone has always been that girl, and her versatile hair looks throughout her career prove it. 2026 isn't the first time she's cycled through periods of being completely blond and letting her gray hairs have their moment in the spotlight. In February 2024, Stone was spotted at a Tom Ford show during Milan Fashion Week rocking a gray-streaked pixie cut. Much like her more recent look, she let her strands around the forehead area create a unique swath in her otherwise edgy cut.

Later that year in December (pictured above), she was also seen at the American Cinematheque Awards rocking almost a completely gray slicked-back bob. This shows she isn't afraid to take it a step further. This look suits her just as well as the initial transitional style. While Stone hasn't spoken much about what her hair coloring routine is like or if she wants to fully make the transition to gray soon, she did reiterate to Allure in 2019 that she considers aging a privilege. "I started to understand that I was going to go for being more like a European woman who got more beautiful with age and who could understand that women are more beautiful than girls because they know something," she said.
