Jami Gertz's Look Totally Changed When She Rocked Blunt Bangs

Whether it be for her work sometime throughout the '80s and '90s or the 21st century, "Still Standing" actor and businessperson Jami Gertz has consistently stood out for her photogenic qualities both on and off-set, along with her ability to effortlessly adapt with the times. Though some of her followers may be particularly busy admiring adorable pics of Jami Gertz and her husband of over 30 years, Tony Ressler, others may still be fawning over one whimsical 2000s-era style the "Twister" star once rocked.

In May 2007, Gertz was pictured between Lambertson Truex creative directors Richard Lambertson and John Truex during their Melrose Place boutique's grand opening in New York City. Fans of the "Sixteen Candles" star might have immediately recognized that she'd traded her normal middle part for blunt bangs. The star complimented her new fringe with a bowl cut-style front and a bumped-up back half of her 'do, which cascaded back into a short, fanned-out ponytail. To top it off, she wore large hooped earrings, lush red lipstick, and a captivating midnight-blue dress. Despite the occasion's true purpose of celebrating Lambertson Truex, one could say the night really belonged to Gertz.

Jami Gertz flawlessly changes her hair with the times

"The Lost Boys" star Jami Gertz is still giving her fans plenty of reasons to keep up with her today. Beyond her current acting gigs and business endeavors as an owner of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks, Jami Gertz has turned heads for making the transition to gray hair look so chic, while she's also proven she's a fresh-faced beauty whenever she goes makeup-free. Her modern admirers may still take the time to look back on and appreciate her retro looks, however, because they still deserve attention today.

Before she busted out her blunt bangs in 2007, Gertz was better recognized for her more voluminous hairstyles. During CBS Television's 2002-2003 Upfront Party, Gertz brought all the cool to the function with her dark wolf cut, black blazer, and aviator sunglasses. Reaching even further back into her career, Gertz may also be remembered for when she rolled her bangs back in a typical '80s fashion. She particularly nailed the style during a March 1986 photoshoot, in which she wore a red bandana around the backside of her 'do and let one rogue strand of hair fall from her curled-back bangs. Though both styles were far cries from the blunt bangs she later adopted, they asserted her adaptability when it comes to changing up her hair. Thus, it's no surprise she was, again, able to pull off another atypical look when she ultimately decided to let her bangs come down.
