'70s Star Bianca Jagger Is Still Such A Stunner In Her 80s

No one embodies peak '70s glamour quite like activist and actor Bianca Jagger. Not that it's much of a mystery; there are so many pics out there of Bianca Jagger that show exactly why she was a fashion icon in the 1970s. Jagger is still a total trailblazer today, revealing in a 2024 Elle interview that, for her, "style" isn't defined by trends. "[Style] is not a [particular type of] fashion or when a designer dictates the length of the skirt you should wear ... It is to know who you are and know what fits you, what's good, and what's beautiful," she said. That said, there are several '70s fashion trends having a resurgence that are worth giving a try. As you can see in the above photo (taken in 2025), Jagger is just as stunning and stylish in her 80s (she's currently 81) as she was back then. As someone whose outfits rank among the most iconic '70s celeb outfits that defined the era, Jagger knows a thing or two about fashion and the power of a timeless wardrobe. "A beautiful suit by Yves Saint Laurent will be beautiful in the '70s and '60s, today, and tomorrow, and in 20 years. That's what style is, and that is the embodiment of style for me," she told Elle. And Jagger wasn't kidding! This all-black ensemble is exactly the kind of thing she would have worn in the '70s. Glad to see she's true to her word and hasn't changed much style-wise.

Another thing that makes Bianca Jagger so stunning is her unique attitude toward beauty. In the same Elle interview, she shared more about what it truly means to her. "[Beauty] has to do with what we [as women] feel, how confident we feel about ourselves, about who we are," she said. "When we are empowered — when we have been able to overcome obstacles and the limitations that we have to face as women — that is when we feel most beautiful." She also considers beauty more of a subjective concept, further stating that women shouldn't allow media or corporations to dictate what it truly is or what they should do to attain it.

Jagger also hardly ever takes beauty brand endorsements, but she explained to British Vogue in 2024 why she decided to partner with Yves Saint Laurent on a campaign for its fragrance, Libre (which is the French word for free). Unsurprisingly, it was because the fragrance aligned with her own philosophy and activism work. "I was born and grew up under the repressive regime of the Somoza Dynasty," she shared. "From an early age, I understood that the only way I could stand up to a repressive regime was to fight for freedom every day ... The title of this fragrance was attractive to me because that's the quintessential objective of what I do every day in my personal life and in my foundation." Jagger was the perfect person to tap for this, and her inspiring, elegant way of fusing beauty and activism is what makes her a stunning icon even today.
