Remember Heidi From Home Improvement? She's Aging Like Fine Wine

"Home Improvement" may have ended back in 1999, but Debbe Dunning, the actor who played Heidi Keppert, looks like she hasn't aged a day. Dunning has, of course, always been a beauty, ever since replacing Pamela Anderson as the infamous "Tool Time" girl. The role changed her life, with Dunning telling Entertainment Weekly in 2025, "I have gone to the most beautiful places in the world just because of my one part on a show that I did almost 30 years ago." You'd never guess three decades have passed, though, especially since Dunning pretty much still looks the same when she posts from "Home Improvement" conventions in her iconic cut-off shorts and tool belt.

Dunning is clearly aging like fine wine, and in July 2026, she turned 60. She posted a reel of her celebrations where one follower commented, "still smokin @ 60." We couldn't agree more, especially since the actor kept her vibrant brunette tresses (a hair color that can effortlessly highlight hazel eyes, like Dunning's). The mom of three has stayed in amazing shape too, and showed it off by posting stunning bikini photos just weeks before her milestone birthday. In one, Dunning posed alongside her daughter, and fans couldn't believe that there's a 30-year age difference between the two. One even commented, "You could be mistaken for you're daughters sister!!!" Dunning, who has glowing skin without a wrinkle in sight, could just have good genes or perhaps a secret anti-aging potion.

Working out and staying active keeps Debbe Dunning young

Many of the ladies who starred on "Home Improvement" are unrecognizable today, and we'd argue that Debbe Dunning is one of them, because she looks even better at 60 than she did on the show! She clearly works hard to maintain her appearance, and Dunning frequently posts videos of herself working out on Instagram, whether it's cardio or lifting weights. Getting bulky is definitely one of the myths you need to stop believing about weight training because Dunning, for one, looks slim and toned. Even if some days she feels like she needs a little extra motivation, Dunning has stayed consistent with her fitness, and it's definitely paid off.

Dunning keeps active in other ways too, and if she's not in the gym, you'll probably find her on the golf course. In fact, when she broached the subject with her former "Home Improvement" co-star, Tim Allen, about appearing on his latest show, "Shifting Gears," Dunning initially suggested she could play his character's golf instructor.

Not surprisingly, Dunning appears to favor clean eating as well, and in June 2026 she shared a reel of her dinner. It included a fresh, summery salad, alongside chicken and fish for extra protein (there was wine too, because balance!) Dunning obviously knows what she's doing because she has managed to only improve with age.
