Tippi Hedren's Granddaughter Stella Banderas Is An Absolute Stunner

Tippi Hedren was one of the biggest movie stars during the golden age of Hollywood after starring in two legendary Alfred Hitchcock films. She's now the matriarch of one of Hollywood's most famous families, as the mother of Melanie Griffith and the grandmother of Dakota Johnson. Melanie Griffith regularly praises her mother Tippi Hedren on social media, and they seem to be a close, multi-generational family. While Dakota Johnson inherited mom Melanie Griffith's megawatt smile, she isn't Hedren's only beautiful granddaughter. That's because Griffith's other daughter, Stella Banderas, is also an absolute stunner. 

Between the good genes on her mother's side and her father's side, with her dad being the handsome actor Antonio Banderas, Stella is lucky to look like a combination of her parents. She even carries herself with the same Hollywood elegance as her grandmother, but has her sister's signature brown hair and natural cool-girl aura. Stella's effortlessly chic aesthetic can be seen on her Instagram, which is perfectly curated with a few understated selfies amongst a feed of dreamy and romantic photos, making her just a bit mysterious too.

Stella has shown off her classic good looks in other places though, whether it be on-screen, like in a 2024 Mercedes-Benz commercial, or in the pages of Vogue. In 2021, she also launched her own beauty and fragrance brand, Lightbound. In an Instagram post, Griffith called her perfume "as beautiful as [Stella] is." Stella is clearly gorgeous, but it's safe to say that she looked particularly lovely on her wedding day. 

Tippi Hedren's granddaughter, Stella Banderas, looked stunning when she tied the knot with her longtime love, Alex Gruszynski, on October 18, 2025, in Spain. Her bridal look even matched the vibe of her venue, which was a 12th-century abbey. Stella helped design her stunning off-the-shoulder lace and chiffon gown with the luxury line, Rodarte. "I knew I wanted something a little bit Gothic, very romantic, and inspired by Spanish lace — something that looked as if it belonged in a fairytale," she told InStyle in 2025. 

Stella's makeup was just as perfect, making her skin glow and eyes sparkle, and her face could serve as a guide to incredible bridal makeup. Between that and her loosely curled hair, Stella looked like a princess in photos she and her mother, Melanie Griffith, shared from the ceremony. She looked just as incredible when she later changed into a fitted silk gown for the reception.

Stella's famous friends couldn't stop gushing over her on Instagram when she posted a photo from her wedding. Actor Addison Timlin commented, "The most beautiful bride in the world." Griffith's Hollywood cohorts fawned over her daughter's dreamy wedding look in her comments section as well. Musician Cat Pierce wrote, "Wow! Stella is a stunning bride!" and reality star Lisa Rinna commented, "Beautiful." It's clear from the Instagram photos that Stella's famous family were emotional about her special day, proving their bond and beauty both run deep.
