Molly Ringwald's Oldest Daughter Mathilda Grew Up To Be Gorgeous Like Her Mom

Molly Ringwald is one of those '80s child stars who grew up to be gorgeous, so it's not too surprising that her eldest daughter, Mathilda Gianopoulos, has also blossomed into a total stunner. 22 years old in 2026, Gianopoulos has really come into her own. She's following in her famous mother's footsteps and is starting an acting career, so far landing a small role in the 2024 Amazon Prime movie "The Idea of You" and a short film. As you can see in the photo below, an interest in acting isn't the only similarity Gianopoulos shares with her mother.

This photo of Gianopoulos, taken in August 2026, shows how truly gorgeous she's grown up to be. Although Gianopoulos doesn't share her mother's iconic red hair, both have the same warm brown eyes and smile. While Ringwald isn't known for being particularly adventurous with makeup, a look at Gianopoulos's Instagram account proves that she loves to dabble, especially with moody aesthetics. In one December 2025 post, the actor sported a dark smoky eye with heavy eyeliner, and it's a look that really works for her.

Mathilda Gianopoulos has her own unique style.

Although actor Molly Ringwald's is known for her quirky '80s style, the "Pretty in Pink" star admitted that her daughter Mathilda couldn't be more different when it comes to fashion. "My daughter is very headstrong, especially with style and how she wants to do things," she told Babble (via People). "At one point she almost reduced me to tears because she wouldn't wear these expensive patent leather boots I bought her." A further look through Mathilda Gianopoulos's Instagram really proves just how unique and edgy her fashion sense is. The budding actor's grid shows her in everything from soft and feminine dresses to grungy goth black to faux fur coats that scream mob wife aesthetic. While attending events with her parents, though, Gianopoulos has been spotted twinning with her mother at least once.

In 2023, the two were spotted in matching dresses at a dinner celebrating Rodarte and New York Fashion Week. While Gianopoulos wore a yellow floral print and Ringwald a peach lace one, the cut, silhouette, and silky fabric of the dresses were identical. As different as they are when it comes to fashion, the two sure know how to coordinate outfits.
