Tracy Spiridakos, who portrays Detective Hailey Upton on "Chicago P.D.," is one of the stars of the series whose love life is particularly interesting to fans of the hit drama. Among the leading ladies of "Chicago P.D.," Sophia Bush — who played Detective Erin Lindsay on the first four seasons of the series — certainly has the most public love life. Since the actor rose to fame thanks to the 2000s teen drama "One Tree Hill," we know quite a bit about her dating history. In 2005, Bush married her then-co-star Chad Michael Murray, but in 2006 they divorced. After that, she dated co-stars Jon Foster, James Lafferty, and Austin Nichols, as well as Google executive Dan Fredinburg. Bush also dated her "Chicago P.D." co-star Jesse Lee Soffer in the mid-2010s, after which she was linked to actor Grant Hughes.

In 2023, Bush became was first linked to former soccer player Ashlyn Harris, and a year later the actor confirmed their relationship, joining the list of LGBTQ+ celebs who came out later in life. During a 2024 episode of her podcast "Work in Progress," Bush opened up about being queer. "Even a lot of the queer women in my life were, like, 'Oh, we knew you were, like, an ally and we maybe wondered when we saw this TV show or this movie you've done or whatever: 'that doesn't really look like acting.' Harris shares two children with her ex-wife, fellow former soccer player Ali Krieger, and in 2025 Bush gushed about Harris' parenting. "In awe of the mother you are [Ashlyn Harris], today and every day ... I've never known anyone as magical as you — and I think that's saying a lot because my life is full of some really incredibly magical humans," the actor wrote on Instagram.
