The warm shade looks stunning on the star, whose hairstylists clearly know that ensuring your blond color is right for your skin tone and undertone is crucial in making such a drastic change. However, while the change might have been dramatic, it wasn't permanent.

Even though brunette hair has its perks and downsides, Dobrev decided to go back to it. While the blond hair surprised many, the truth is that Dobrev is no stranger to fun hair changes. In 2023, the actor decided to rock straight-across bangs, a daring choice that definitely switched up her look.

Speaking to People back then, she shared her styling tips and tricks. "My hairstylist, we did a FaceTime, and he taught me how to blow it out myself, and I use the Kevin Murphy Doo Over Dry Powder Finishing Hairspray," she admitted, adding, "It's the only thing I put on my bangs after they've been blown out. It makes them more texturized and dirty looking, which is what you want when you have bangs. You don't want them to be clean, surprisingly."
In a conversation with Allure in 2023, Dobrev's hairstylist Mark Townsend gushed about his client's locks. "Nina has amazing hair," he said.
