Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her marriage to Travis Barker in a star-studded ceremony in Portofino, Italy, in May 2022. For the buzzy affair, Kardashian wore a Dolce & Gabbana corseted satin and lace minidress accented with an extravagant lace-trimmed veil embroidered with the Virgin Mary. The dress was apt for a bride marrying a rockstar. Kardashian's dress was the definition of nontraditional — from the length to the lingerie feel — and so it's hard to also call it timeless. So, while it was beautiful, it nabs our 10th spot.

"Practical Magic 2" star Joey King married her husband, Steven Piet, in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles in August 2023 and flew off to a destination wedding in Mallorca, Spain, the following month. King wore a strapless Oscar de la Renta ballgown covered in large scale-like decals, topped with a classic sheer veil. The actor looked youthful and spirited in her choice of wedding wear. No knocks there. It would've nabbed a higher spot, except the crisp-white scales read very specific to her vibe and to present-day styles, and so we don't know how well it would appeal to future brides.

Actor Alexandra Daddario married film producer Andrew Form in June 2022 in New Orleans, with the energy of the historic city all over the day, including in Daddario's wedding dress. She wore a slip dress of sorts from designer Danielle Frankel that felt straight out of a Southern fairy tale with its dreamy pleats and lace appliqués. It was gorgeous, but because it already reads as old-fashioned — in the best way possible — it doesn't feel as timeless, so it doesn't rank as high on this list.

In August 2022, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a ceremony in Georgia to celebrate their marriage (official in July 2022), after famously rekindling their long-dormant romance. The bride wore a high-neck Ralph Lauren wedding gown complete with cap sleeves and a lovely cloud of petal-like ruffles trailing the skirt. "The Color Purple" actor Danielle Brooks married Dennis Gelin in January 2022 in Miami. For the ceremony, Brooks wore two stunning gowns. This one, by designer Oluwagbemisola Okunlola, featured a breathtaking sheer bodice and long sleeves decorated in a dreamy tangle of floral details, and an impossibly full, glittering skirt. Brooks oozed regality, but if we had to take any timelessness points away, the top half of the gown is quite sexy and stylish in a way that feels well-suited to the modern-day bride only.

Podcaster Alex Cooper married Matt Kaplan in an intimate beachside ceremony in April 2024 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The "Call Her Daddy" host wore a Danielle Frankel silk gown with a fitted bodice, barely-there spaghetti straps, and an '80s-style Basque waist. The simple silhouette was clean, classic, and effortlessly chic. We could see a million brides reaching for something like Cooper's dress for their own big days. Regarding the ageless appeal, the waist does feel specific to the '80s, trendy right now but maybe not so much in the future.

Actor Yvette Nicole Brown and her husband, Anthony Davis, welcomed 200 guests to witness their wedding ceremony, held in Los Angeles in December 2024.
