You Probably Never Realized These Gorgeous Celebs Are Grandmas In Real Life

It's hard to believe some of our favorite celebrities are already grandmas in real life. Some grandparents post about their many grandchildren often, like Sharon Osbourne, who has the sweetest snaps with her grandkids. Many older celebrities absolutely love being grandparents, and it's easier to picture them in that role. But others are either new grandparents or seem too young to have kids old enough to have kids themselves. These gorgeous celebrities are style and beauty icons on the red carpet, are still super busy in the entertainment industry, or only recently stopped having children themselves — yet they are enjoying grandma life.

Candace Cameron Bure, for example, became a grandma in 2026. It seems like just the other day we were watching her be the best older sister as DJ Tanner on "Full House," and now she is someone's grandmother! Cameron Bure has admitted that she's been waiting for her grandmother era, however. Her daughter, Natasha, who's had her own complete transformation, announced she was expecting a baby in May 2026. Afterward, Cameron Bure told Today, "This is just the sweetest season. I've dreamed and prayed about being a grandma, and now it's actually happening."

Cameron Bure is just one of celebrities who became grandmas without us realizing it. And we are so happy for them (even if it does make us feel old!).

Candace Cameron Bure has a full heart after becoming a grandma twice within just two months! She is a young grandma, as she turned 50 in April 2026, just months before two of her children had babies. The "Full House" star's son Lev (whom she shares with husband Val Bure) and his wife, Elliott, welcomed a son named Bond Leo in August 2026. He was born 10 weeks early and weighed just 3 pounds, according to an Instagram post by Cameron Bure. He finally went home after six weeks in the NICU. "I had no idea the love I would have for my grandchild," she added in the post. "It's a love like no other, beyond anything I imagined. My heart is so full."

The actor, whose Grandma name is "CandyGram," barely had a chance to get used to grandparent life before she gained another grandbaby. Her daughter Natasha Perry announced the birth of her daughter, Winnie, whom she shares with husband Bradley Steven Perry, in October 2026. Cameron Bure shared several pictures of the baby girl, including one where she's holding Winnie, on Instagram. "Dreams really do come true," she wrote. "We love you so much Winnie sweet pea. You are so loved. CandyGram and Deda are here for every moment." She added that Natasha and Steven "need no luck" in caring for their little girl.

"The Bachelorette" star Emily Maynard became a grandma just four years after her youngest child was born. Maynard, who turned 40 in February 2026, became a grandma at 39 years old when her daughter, Ricki, gave birth at age 20 in January 2026. Maynard was also a young mom, giving birth to her daughter, whom she shared with her late fiancé Ricky Hendrick, when she was just 19 years old.

Maynard married Tyler Johnson in 2014, when her daughter was 8 years old. Since then, Maynard and Johnson welcomed five children together, born between 2015 and 2022. Her grandchild will have some very young aunts and uncles!

Despite still being in the throes of child-rearing herself, Maynard seems happy to be a grandma. In January 2026, Maynard and Johnson shared a joint post on Instagram, including several pictures of when they met and held their grandbaby in the hospital. "We became grandparents today!! The feeling is inexpressible," they wrote in the caption, adding, "This is love." 

If you didn't realize that Salma Hayek was a grandma, that might be because she is a step-grandmother through her husband, François-Henri Pinault. Hayek's stepson, François Pinault Jr., and his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, announced in August 2026 that they had a baby boy, making Hayek a step-grandma for the first time.

Hayek shared a video of her holding the baby the same month. "We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois'," she wrote on Instagram. "Although I will call him Panchito. He seems to love it, and I cannot love him more."

In addition to François Jr., Hayek is also stepmom to Mathilde Pinault and Augustin James Pinault. She welcomed a daughter, Valentina, with her husband in 2007. She gushed about her grandbaby in an interview with "Today" in September 2026. "I love it! ... I don't know that it's about being a grandma or just about him. You know, how fantastic he is, and how easy he is, and how special, and how much I connect with him, and how much I miss him!" she said. Hayek is glowing just talking about him, so it's easy to see how much she loves her grandson.

When Demi Moore isn't busy filming new movies and TV shows or winning awards, she spends time with her granddaughter, Louetta. That's right, she's so busy working, you may have missed that Moore is officially a grandma. Her daughter Rumer, whom she shares with ex Bruce Willis, welcomed her daughter in April 2023, making Moore a grandmother for the first time.

In a September 2024 interview with "Today," Moore opened up about being a grandma. "I love it," she told the outlet. "I am 'Yaya.' And she is the cutest." She also shared her favorite part about grandparent life in a January 2024 interview with E! News. Moore called Louetta "just a pure joy," adding that grand-parenting is exactly what you would hope. "It really is all the clichés," Moore explained. "You get all the fun and joy, and you get to go to bed early and have a good night's sleep."
