Instead, renowned celebrity makeup artist Scott Barnes recommends using your trusty fingers to melt the product into the skin. A damp makeup sponge is also an excellent tool for flawlessly blending liquid highlighter. You'll want to use the liquid highlighter before any powder products to prevent a splotchy application.
