Brooke Shields' Daughter Grier Henchy Has Grown Up To Be Gorgeous

Actor and model Brooke Shields has always been known not just for her talent but also her beauty. With her dark, luscious hair and thick eyebrows, Shields set plenty of beauty trends throughout her career. In fact, pics of Brooke Shields from 40 years ago show why she was the face of an entire decade in the '80s. So, the fact that her daughter grew up to be stunning is certainly not surprising.

Born in 2006, Grier Henchy is the youngest daughter of Shields and producer and screenwriter Chris Henchy. Throughout the 2010s, we got to see Grier occasionally accompany her parents to industry events, and even then, it was clear that she would grow up to be stunning. Known for her freckles and red hair, Grier's features were different from her mother's, yet equally breathtaking. And by the mid-2020s, Grier was all grown up and ready to carve a career path of her own.

In a 2025 conversation with Real Simple, Shields revealed that Grier wanted to be a model from a young age, but the Hollywood star wasn't too keen to let her child enter the famously cut-throat industry. "I fought it for so many years because she was just too young. And then when she turned 18, I said, 'OK, look. I can't say no at this point, because you're starting to become your own person,'" she shared, adding that she had told her daughter, "You are going to learn what it really means to do this. You're going to learn how hard it is to be a model." Needless to say, Grier's career quickly kicked off, and over the years, she has worked with brands like Victoria's Secret and Tommy Hilfiger.

According to Brooke Shields, it's not all that surprising that Grier Henchy ended up pursuing a career in the fashion industry. The model has always loved beautiful clothing, often sneaking things out of her mother's closet to wear. 

Shields revealed to People back in 2021 that then-15-year-old Grier was already the fashionista of the family. "My younger [daughter] is extremely into fashion. If I want to know where anything good that I have is, and I can't find it in my closet, I know exactly where to find it," the "Suddenly Susan" star shared. "And she's [like], 'Oh, I forgot to give that back to you.' I'm like, 'You also forgot to ask me to borrow it. So let's go back, back up a bit.'" Now in her early 20s, Grier's style is all about experimenting with different styles, and showcasing her eclectic wardrobe. While the model looks stunning in dresses, she often opts for powerful and bold pantsuits when attending industry events.

Grier Henchy might be a stunning model, but she is not the only young beauty in the family. Her older sister, Brooke Shields' daughter Rowan Henchy has also grown up to be gorgeous, and the two sisters seem to have a beautiful relationship. Speaking to People in 2024, Rowan shared only kind words about her younger sister. "[Grier is] extremely loyal and strong in her opinions," she explained. "She has a good judgment of other people's character. She's very funny when she lets her guard down a little. It's often up but that's okay."

With both daughters grown up, Brooke Shields can certainly be proud of the job she has done as a mother. "They're going to have each other's back," Shields said about her daughters. "They're both tough and strong-willed. The world is not going to undo them. I'm proud of who they are."
