Here's What Legendary '60s Model Pattie Boyd Looks Like Now

You've probably wondered what the supermodels of old look like today. In particular, you might have thought about what legendary '60s model Twiggy looks like now, or perhaps you're curious about another beauty from that era: Pattie Boyd. Although Boyd was primarily known for her infamous love triangle with George Harrison and Eric Clapton, much like Twiggy, she was an era-defining model of the '60s long before becoming a rock and roll muse. Boyd's long blond hair, big blue eyes, and defined cheekbones gave her a playful, youthful appearance beloved by fashion photographers of the time. Unsurprisingly, her gorgeous features have looked just as good more recently as they did in the 1960s.

The above photo of Boyd was taken in 2023 and, as you can see, her signature blond hair and blue eyes still really pop. In the '60s, Pattie Boyd also showed off her trendy style while on her honeymoon with George Harrison. Taking a look at Boyd's Instagram account, you can tell that her signature style is still just as unique today as it was then, allowing her innate fashion sense to still shine after all these years. Boyd loves long, flowing silhouettes, pinstriped pants, and unique prints. It's great to see that her natural beauty features and cool-girl style never really went away.

Although Pattie Boyd spent most of her time in front of the camera back in the '60s, she also had a budding career as a photographer — a lot of her work can still be seen today. She even released a book called "Pattie Boyd: My Life in Pictures" in 2022 that, naturally, featured photos from her career as a model. But, it also had early images she took of her former loves Harrison and Clapton in the '60s and '70s, along with other personal memorabilia. In a 2022 Forbes interview, she reflected on her legendary career and discussed the part her signature '60s look played in the huge culture shift at the time. After all, Boyd embraced the aesthetic of the decade in addition to her signature, timeless style, from her graphic eyeliner to the hair trends from the 1960s that you may have forgotten about.

"Previously fashion had been really rather severe and sophisticated as far as magazines like Vogue and Harper's, etc.," she explained. "They really only showed very sophisticated models, probably aristocratic models, and it was so completely different. And then the '60s girls, when we came in, we did completely different make-up, we liked black underneath our eyes as well as on top. Our hair was completely different ... I feel that it was all part of a rebellious movement in a creative way." She also described this period in time as a creative boom in London before it inevitably made its way to the rest of the world. In the interview, she looked back on this time with fond memories and we love that, even now, she still often posts old photos from this pivotal era on her Instagram account.
