Céline Dion is back, and she's chicer than ever. After being out of the spotlight for two years, the multi-Grammy award winner was seen in Paris on August 28, greeting fans. Dion looked ready for fall in an Alaïa trench with an oversized collar and a draped asymmetrical hem that showed off her cutout suede boots. The camel trench is a timeless outerwear option, but the songstress made hers fashion-forward with the high-low silhouette and avant-garde footwear. She added a pair of oversized sunglasses, looking ready to walk the runway.

Dion has never shied away from bold looks, and she seems to love statement coats, which are the biggest outerwear trend you'll need going into fall fashion season. In 2019, the "Because You Loved Me" singer told ET, "I'm crazy about clothes. They help me to express myself, as if borrowing characters to help me perform." Dion indeed dresses as if the spotlight is always on her, which it is whenever she's out and about. She inspires fashionistas everywhere to always have a statement coat on hand.

Even when she's not on stage, Céline Dion's style is unmatched. Her coat collection is oh-so enviable, and in 2017, she was seen at Paris Fashion Week wearing a to-die-for embroidered floral Gucci coat with colorful bejeweled embellishments. The jacket, which could have doubled as a dress, was a work of art, and Dion showed the best way to turn pajamas into streetwear in a pair of silky green pants. Held in her hand was a teal Dior handbag that further completed her colorful 'fit.
Dion had another iconic fashion moment at the 2024 Grammys when she made a surprise onstage appearance to present the album of the year award wearing a mustard-yellow coat over her pink dress. While it was an unusual choice, the "My Heart Will Go On" singer told Vogue in 2024 the reason behind it. "I was like, 'You can walk onstage with a coat? Oh yeah! You can do whatever you want in fashion, have a good time, wear that coat, own that coat, go for it," she shared. Dion added, "And it made me feel better for a moment to hold onto this coat, to hide myself a little bit from all these little things." Emotional support dressing never looked so good.
